QUOTE(brianccg @ Mar 23 2009, 08:46 AM) HI, Wanna to ask how long the battery can last? My only can last two days (the most and I off my phone while sleeping). Only used the phone to call, receive call and surf net (for 30 mins) Thanks, Turning it off and then on will greatly suck the battery life out. The phone needs to search for a signal and boot up necessary operations and get itself ready for use. This uses up more power. Use offline mode while you're sleeping, it'll save more power. 2.5 days should be within reach. Mine can last 3 days normally with 4-5 hours a day of music playing and putting it in offline mode while playing music and at work. Added on March 23, 2009, 8:57 amHey wait, new TS! QUOTE(brianccg @ Mar 23 2009, 09:02 AM) IC.. i Think i need to claim the warranty for the battery. Why? 2 days is good. Surfing the net is another batt sucker. If you just put your phone in offline mode while sleeping it should give you an extra half a day or so. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Mar 23 2009, 09:08 AM

QUOTE(xtrifor @ Mar 25 2009, 06:33 AM) crazy what? typing sms without looking... who can do that? QUOTE(Mr.Ken @ Mar 25 2009, 06:47 AM) with vibration it is possible and proven Yes it is possible. Although not as fast and accurate as a physical keypad. Not as accurate because you might not get the desired number of taps(eg. wanna type 'c' ended up with 'b'). Not as fast because typing too fast can sometimes result in the former prob, accuracy. There's more thumb lift involved with a touchscreen. aspire aspire, is it worth getting an EX series Sony? I'm going to Semenanjung in a few months so I'll be able to buy, finally, some high end mp3 players and earphones there. Prob is, right now I can't wait and the EX series is all the decent ones I could find. What's you word for it?? This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Mar 25 2009, 09:31 AM

QUOTE(mastering89 @ Mar 25 2009, 09:48 AM) what diff between classes??? diff in data transfer rate only?? Yeah, basically it. Remember, the class rating is the MINIMUM speed it is able to achieve. Buying a Class 6 when the phone isn't able to squeeze out that amount of data that fast isn't really doing anything except burn a hole in your wallet. Only recommended if you're really impatient and you have a card reader to transfer loads of files in a single session.

QUOTE(redscorpion @ Mar 25 2009, 10:18 PM) i think i should just use my sony ericsson earphones for the time being and later ill go with the creative ep630 only la. im just interested with the in ear plugs and kinda annoying with the nokia's earphones. the sound quality of the sony's earphone is kinda okay for me because i dont really know much to differentiate these things. lol i thought that my nokia's earphones is not working but after few tests with several other earphones, confirmed that i have to send my tube to NCC la. if i use earphones, the left of it is not working.. or anyone else know the solution perhaps..? How much is an ep 630 selling now?

QUOTE(ckyned @ Mar 27 2009, 11:42 AM) Hey, Did anyone test video recording about 30-60minutes? My tube crashed yesterday and I have to pull the battery off then boot the phone. At the boot, I have been ask to set the Date & Time again. Any opinion & suggestion are pleased to hear. I have. I recorded a futsal match. It was about 40 min and the size was close to 900mb. Set it to TV high quality. Added on March 27, 2009, 1:43 pmQUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Mar 27 2009, 08:08 AM) Digi launch their 3G a week ago edi. OMG really?!!! I didn't use the default theme that's for sure. I can't remember exactly what it was. The most was that the battery got a bit warm and went from full bar to 4.

Between TV quality and widescreen, in the phone it seems that TV quality is the best(judging from the bar in settings and the description). However I see no difference in quality. The latter is in 4:3 mode and with widescreen it is in 16:9 mode. The description says for TV, "the best setting for long term use, best for viewing on TV, PC or handset". However, aspect ratio aside I see no diff. Why is the TV said to be the "best" setting?
I'm confused.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Mar 28 2009, 12:07 AM) good earphone needs burn in because for the earphone to suit the songs u are listening. Crappy earphone no such thing The Nokia stock ones have slight improvements from my experience. Before, I removed the foam padding and the treble was very harsh, now I just did the same thing and the treble seems to have calmed down and not as ear piercing even at max volume. Bass production seems to be a bit more crisp, although still waaaaay average. Of course dedicated media player sounds better. I had a sony MP3 and it sounds too good compared to the 5800. QUOTE(204 @ Apr 1 2009, 12:39 PM) Fring is know to be a tubian must already.. along with slick too.. it's still unsure how Tube manage the power... that day i try playing speaker mp3.. the bat drop by 1 or 2 bar immediately.. but when i stop the song.. it raises back. i think it's taking prediction consumption istead of actual remaining juice.. as previous nokias have problem giving accurate and consistant indication (bat runs out faster when low bar) By the way practicing off and on phone overnight is not recommended anymore.. as it uses more power to start up than having standby whole night.. If you want to get the most out of it.. switch to offline, lock the screen and leave it.. should uses minimal bat.. Resource: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/it...as_possible.php Added on April 1, 2009, 12:41 pmJust go youtube site with the build in browser.. it will activate the mobile player and you can play full screen by clicking on the player.. no need to install anything.. the installed version youtube can play also.. but i prefer the browser... the navi in the installed client not so nice.. I thought it was a display problem, switching from a larger display to a smaller one when inside the now playing window. My batt indicator sometimes show half a bar. The batt indicator looks normal when music is playing in the background when I exit the music player.

QUOTE(tabletennis @ Apr 3 2009, 12:46 AM) I think when they say that tube's touchscreen is not sensitive ,they are using their fingers instead of nailx to tap on the screen coz tube is resistive touchscreen, maybe they got used to capatative touch screen which is more expensive Yeah, you have to use either the fingernails or the edges of your finger(the pointy hard bit of your finger). The two layers of the resistive touchscreen needs to have as small contact patch as possible to get the best accuracy and response.
