Now Monash carpark is getting flooded with cars!

Look for Selwyn or Edwina at the Marketing Department. (Building 2, 1st floor).

Or search through Monash's website first.

I was caught in a jam INSIDE monash parking for half an hour yesterday evening. Can't even get out of the parking. Ughh.

The jam will ease off eventually... middle of the semester people start skipping class.

A tip for those who start classes late. Try coming in at times when class dismiss : class dismiss at 10am, students start driving out at 10.10am or 10.15am. Similarly for 11am, 12pm... etc.

@Granger : which route do you take? regardless if you're going to NPE, LDP or Subang you'd still have to go through Jalan University. Unfortunately. =/

Rule of thumb (during "normal" times):

Avoid Kewajipan roundabout at around 4pm (Sri KL school dismiss) and after 6pm.

Avoid the Rock Cafe route after 5pm.

Avoid Summit route after 4pm.


Every other route (eg: LDP) can't be avoided (as in, there's no alternative).


I always take the Sunway Medical-Lagoon Club-Sunway Pyramid route after 5pm basically. Much longer, but faster.

Middle of the sem? I already skipped a few classes yesterday and today.

well.... MORE people will start later.

Can always use belakang road if Rock Cafe road is jam. But also will jam.
Was caught at Rock Cafe road for 1 hour 40 minutes at 7pm before last 2 years. Haha.

Yeah that's the damn sad part. Cars really stuck. I was watching my pretrol meter going down bar by bar. RM50 gone just like that.

How dO you get to lagoon club a?

Lagoon club is after Palmville condos.

Added on March 8, 2011, 12:57 pmYesterday evening wasn't that bad. I used the behind road which leads straight to the kewajipan roundabout. There was hardly any jam and reach home smoothly after 15 minutes or so.
The hardest part yesterday was coming out from Monash Parking!

After exiting Monash carpark,

Head straight until you see Sunway Medical Centre. Turn left at the traffic light (straight is LDP).

You will see Lagoon Club and Menara Sunway as well as shops on the left, houses on the right. At the end of the road turn left to go to the highway leading to Sunway Pyramid and Kewajipan Roundabout. If you turn right you will return to the same traffic light at which you can go LDP (sort of making a u-turn).

Hey, how many hours of lectures + tutorials do students of each faculty have? I am in Business & Commerce and have a total of 13 hours of lessons a week.

Can People from engineering, IT, Medicine share?
Btw, do you consider the business course tough? (in comparison to other business courses and to other faculties)

Lemme see, I've got 11 hours of lectures, and 13 hours of tutorials, total 24 hours of classes , plus 3 hours of Malaysian studies, that makes 27 hours of lessons a week.

EDIT: Sorry, my bad, mistook another set of tuts as extra tuts, should be 11 hours of tuts, so total 22 hours, and 25 hours after Malaysian Studies...

Oops, read the timetable wrongly, should be 11 hours of tuts, so it's actually 22 hours total, and 25 hours after Malaysian Studies.
