is this course good?
anyone studying it?
can get job easily?

i can definitely give the typical and minimum amount required by myself (on a monthly basis) and i'm staying off-campus.

1. AUD110 for my mobile phone tariff and iPhone 3GS repayments (AUD50 and AUD60 respectively)
2. AUD27.50 for my broadband and phone rental.
3. AUD120 for my dinner (we cater from a malaysian couple and it is delivered to our place on a daily basis)
4. AUD50 for my electricity (on average) and water is inclusive
5. AUD20 for transportation via metlink (on average)

1k isn't really a lot. I mean, thats what my parents give me. Really depends how much you spend on what.

Some people shop every week. Some people treat themselves to delicacies and fine dining frequently. Some people read a lot, and spend a lot on books. Some people go to the movies like 3-4 times a week. Some people spend a lot on pool and foosball. Some people club a lot. Some people drink a lot. And then there are some like me, who game a lot (Asia Cafe robbed me off I think 4 figures already =X

Sooo... it really depends on your lifestyle.

Basic expenditure in Sunway area

RM450-800 for accomodation depending on type and location
RM200-300 for good food (please don't starve yourselves, go get some good food... KL air is already a killer, don't kill your body anymore by eating sucky and unhealthily cheap food all the time.
RM100 for entertainment? drinking, movies, whatever...
RM50 for misc spending, books, clubs and societies, parties, birthday presents, etc.

I don't think RM800-1k is a lot... this is Sunway/Subang area we're talking about, not like other colleges punya area where you can get like RM150 for a single room =.= no such rates here, unfortunately =/

The sunway campus sports facilities is non-existent. Pitiful for a "world class" university >_>

But you can't brand monash just like that. Did you know... Team Monash in Australia especially in Clayton.. their badminton team is world class. I'm serious. The players there are serious players and there are many state players from the Selangor team and state teams, and they represent Victoria and NSW for certain tournaments.

From what I know, even some Singapore youth national team players cannot represent Monash, because they already have too good a team.

I know it may sound meh to anyone not into badminton, but if you are a badminton player, you will know that if you can play on par with state players, you're very very keng ady ;D

Eh? There's a basketball court in Monash now? wtfux?

Well... actually, I realised that the students in Monash Sunway are not really opiniated and don't voice out their frustrations to the university. I think you guys should work with MUSA to ask them to have more sports facilities on campus.

Or at least, work with sunway club to have memberships for monash students or something... really, sports makes a student's life more balanced - and its easier to make friends through sports too. This should enhance the international student's education experience in Malasyia.

y  prefer monash than imu for healthcare course? monash pharmacy and medicine only starts next year. And monash is well-known for engineering . For healthcare course,imu is more well-known and more experience.

im not sure i should pursue in mechatronics engineering or pharmacy in monash malaysia..now im studying ausmat with 1st sem GPA 2.1(i know is very bad cos i didnt put effort in it)
my question is which course in monash is better like lecturer, environment and probability2 study oversea..
any1 doing ausmat or a level b4 entering monash u?advise on should i change to a lvl in order to achieve the entry requirement n maybe get a scholarship:p
