Second year engineering student here.
I have 12 hours of lectures, 4 hours of tutorials and 9 hours of lab.
That makes it 25 hours per week for me

Depends, I guess? It's rather similar to what I experienced in Taylor's UniSA business program, difficulty-wise. Well, maybe a bit tougher in terms of assignments since the lecturers/tutors here aren't allowed to help you out at all, it seems.

Also, seems like this thread is mostly used by students of the sciences! Where are my Bbuss Comm homies?

IT first year student.
9 hours lecture, 6 hours comp lab, 2 hours tute.
17 hours by total.

I've got the Malaysian Studies project, which is a drama performance, and the Engineering Profession project, which our group haven't even started discussing yet heh...

If I'm not mistaken, the business is the more "free" course compared to the other courses in Monash.
I'm in Psych & Business, 4 lectures (2 hours), 2 business tutorials (1 hour) and 2 psych lab (2 hours) each week. Total 14 hours per week. But psych lab not every week got, most of the time alternate weeks. Now in 3rd year but only need to go uni 3 days a week.

Well, more or less.
Maybe you can ask your buddy if you attend the buddy buddie event this Friday night =D
