weee, got into the bach. of commerce course, just need to get 60 percent minimum for my first semester and im in officially next sem biggrin.gif

What do you mean that you need 60% in your first semester? Are you joining Taylors for one semester and use that results to enter into the Bachelor of Commerce course?

Why BCom though? Why not BBusCom? I still feel more inclined to enter BBusCom since the only difference between the 2 is the core subjects of a different depth. The 10 electives meanwhile remain the same...

ouh yeah, its bbuscomm, basically just gotta take the same 4 subjects as all the first years from the 6 or 8 common core units. then use those results to reapply next sem into the proper full time course. meh, if i cant even get 60% i probably dont belong in uni tongue.gif

hope its not too hard though ><"

Well, the first 4 subjects should be reasonably general, should be no major problems.
Most likely I will be joining the same course so all the best to us! thumbup.gif

Will it be hard to find parking on campus since many people will be driving everyday?

business law - not my thing, quite tough for me
marketing - Lecturer will mention which part is important, mark down, and score well tongue.gif
accounting - basic stuff. not tough at all, unless you're new to accounting.
economics - practise more on graphs.
statistics - quite easy.
management - assignments are killing me, not my thing also haha.

Just wondering, how many hours of lectures and tutorials do Bachelor of Business and Commerce students have per week/day?

Hi there,

Does anyone know anything about a transition camp that we have to attend?
Is it compulsory for everyone?
*
It is compulsory once they ask you to go. It's an advantage. Fully paid and good hotel facilities & activities. I'd encourage you to go. I had a very enjoyable time there.

It's only for the School of Medicine.

Maybe baoz means school of medicine and health sciences.
Because i checked in the monash website, and yes its compulsory for my course as well, which is psych.

I didn't receive any email from Monash though.I guess because I haven't accepted the offer yet.
Wow Genting view resort! I've never been there.Going to check it out. smile.gif
