Hi there, i also will be joining monash sunway this feb for engineering...just wanted to ask the seniors whether engineering coursework will be tough for the first year?

Will it be hard to find parking on campus since many people will be driving everyday?

I took alvls as my pre-u will it be an advantage at all.... and how is the calculas?

Is chemistry and physcis for engineering units similar to alevels syllabus or do we learn new things because the outline of the course look so similar. I rather learn something new than repeat the same thing

do we need to buy any textbooks for the course ?

Is it possible to take physics in summer classes or something?

Is engineering profession important LOL.I plan to take chemistry as my 8th unit since 7 units are prechosen.

Hey Aar0nY, replyed you a PM. Yes i intend to major in Mechanical Engineering.Im just curious, i feel that physics is an important unit to be negleted. Im doubtful Engineering Profession can be changed since it is starting in the 1st sem.
Maybe i try to find out more this monday.Thanks for your help again.
