QUOTE(Kampung2005 @ Mar 13 2009, 04:57 PM) Look at the location they choose for test drive as well, which is Karak... Actually, they always test their cars along Karak, as it allows them to take the car up to Genting and Bkt. Tinggi to test tractability. So if you want to get sneak peeks, go visit Uncle Lim often!

QUOTE(Kampung2005 @ Mar 13 2009, 04:57 PM) I guess Proton knows our concern about the power and those stuff, because there has been no such pre-launch review/test drive in Proton that is allowed to be posted before launch... As far as i know, when Proton Saga had its media test drive in Cyberjaya before the real launch, there was not a single report in the media, in this case, i mean an article...the test drive report only allowed to be published after the real launch... But this time, medias are allowed to test drive and write about it even before launch.....i sense something different... Look at the location they choose for test drive as well, which is Karak... Based on these things, i think somehow, Proton knows people's concern on power and pickup... yeah..karak highway full with corner and hilly road....which can be use to test the pickup, fuel consumption, cabin comfort and handling...

Well, the Exora can do 180 km/h but we also need to take into account of the comfort level. You can get a Wira doing 180 km/h and it feels a lot horrible compared to an Altis/Civic doing at the same speed (if you get what I mean)

Interesting article but bear in mind mel lee is a proton @ss kisser esp during the TM era. But he is more like a driver's journalist as he puts priority to driving feel unlike most motoring journalist. I would like to read Justin ong's opinion as he is less bias compared mel. I will wait for Chips Yap or Paul Tan comments as well on the weekends. But looks to me Proton may have come out with a decent MPV. At least way better than the crappy innova and avanza.

eh Proton got give you money to write or not? U know last time I work in Proton showroom one, their petrol consumption for PErsona sucks, they told us to say "comparable or competitive" with other makes in its class, didnt even want to tell us how many km per liter. But Savvy they give all these details

Proudly Kampungite, will always be one.

Never try, we never know for now...
I prefer to wait for Sunday report, because by then, we may have fair reviews, unlike this one heh..
Still, these units are pre-production models....
