QUOTE(Kampung2005 @ Mar 13 2009, 04:57 PM) I guess Proton knows our concern about the power and those stuff, because there has been no such pre-launch review/test drive in Proton that is allowed to be posted before launch... yeah..karak highway full with corner and hilly road....which can be use to test the pickup, fuel consumption, cabin comfort and handling... As far as i know, when Proton Saga had its media test drive in Cyberjaya before the real launch, there was not a single report in the media, in this case, i mean an article...the test drive report only allowed to be published after the real launch... But this time, medias are allowed to test drive and write about it even before launch.....i sense something different... Look at the location they choose for test drive as well, which is Karak... Based on these things, i think somehow, Proton knows people's concern on power and pickup... |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 30 2009, 05:59 PM) My Waja got that indicator, but not functioning of course. I think Proton put it the the developement stage to make it easier to implement those features if the need arise. if im not mistaken..uk proton included with traction control and side airbags....so is gen2 with side airbags... |

QUOTE(Niv86 @ Apr 16 2009, 07:31 AM) u think 130k cant buy a camry a? haha..people want complain is their problem..as long u are happy with ur purchase and frm ur pocket dont give a damn on what other people saying....cheers people go check urself before u say anything. my fren bought a 2.0E camry 2006 gotten before the new camry launched. so how u wanna explain? a premium car got 4 power window failure... its 4 doors. as far as i know from Persona owner club, there arent much power window, door problems. most problem are radio and buttons problem, but its solvable, pay not even 1 cent for it. the fabric will be different when u purchase high-line since it comes with leather.... ur door panel will eventually look better. MPV are safety mover, powerless or torqueless or what ever u said is subjective to every buyer. you find it not ok, doesnt mean everyone not ok with it. and how many times u drive 7adults around.... tsk tsk. and There will be a Manual Exora. |

well..went and view the mpv. gear shifter is nice, then door closing sounded like rubbery which is not typical older protons tin sound, alot compartments for things stored, then seating is ok ok, speedometer lightning is nice,...other than that nothing much to shout about.....

QUOTE(joanalooidog @ Apr 20 2009, 09:25 PM) did u really test it? i mean going on slope and highway? how good is the nvh?? on par with persona ah?? or even better? I tested it last weekend. NVH not bad, suspension not bad, spacious interior, love the gadgets. When i tested in on the road, its good when rpm go above 2.5k But below that, it sux............the low end torque is not good enuf. Added on April 20, 2009, 10:53 pm QUOTE(eastwest @ Apr 20 2009, 09:16 AM) yeah man..i think the only proton model with nice door closing sound...solid thump....unlike old model saga,wira,waja...piak..piang...pang... QUOTE(boyy2k @ Apr 21 2009, 02:48 PM) hello every body, this is my review after test drive exora yesterday... wah so bad ah?.. 3.engine.. for me, horrible, there a hill just 30 meter high with road lengh 300meter at taman lensen to taman bukit anggerik(cheras KL), exora cannot go even to 50kmh to climb that hill.. in the car got 5 person with everage weight of 60kg-70kg, ive aredi drive like manual, which at the bottom of the hill, i put to L, then full trotle, after that when change to 2, it feel cant go more, the engine just can affort to maintain at 45kmh - 50kmh....even my uncle avanza 1.5g can go up that hill 60kmh-70kmh with the same amount of people plus 2 children.. Conclusion from me, who ever look for style, design, comfort, pls go ahead and buy, but pls dont aspect to get much power from it, no power lo... dun be embarass if you buy it and cant climb genting highland with full of your family inside while a proton wira 1.5 standard can overtake you. just my 2 cent.. here is the link to my exora test drive video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVsBoMZ-nqc |

QUOTE(ARCH ANGEL 7 @ Apr 23 2009, 03:18 AM) i agree with u !!!! i love proton too,i brought the first batch of persona dont mind being a tikus putih.. not much complaint but only the F.C that all.. rather than that is a good car. wah...since u own persona without iafm....comparing the mpv with 1 person driving, the power wise also like i test it last 2 day n is so so under power that MPV!!! pity the people who buy it even is reasonable price...if more like pay to geram only, normal road is ok to drive but up hill,my goodness..how can the engineer do this... i hope the manual version will b better proton sure can do better than this.. i mean the power wise for the MPV imagine if S.C it... |
