Oh, and there were some posts due to you being too sensitive on Hervn's post.

..and the rivalry continues (looks like we just need to win the title to silence everyone)

I think we're missing Giggs in the middle, Heck i think he should start playing in every match now, this is where we really need the experience and mental strength, something that the likes of Anderson, Carrick, Fletcher have yet to master. The game against LIV proves it all. Nevertheless I still feel confident about this weeks match against the west londoners, Fergie is not new to this kinda situation and I'm sure he'll bring the best out of the match smile.gif

If I was Fergie, (i'll buy Torres tongue.gif), no I'll start with

VDS
JOS - Rio - Evans - Evra
CR7 - Giggs - Carrick - Park
Berbatov - Rooney

If everything can be settled through pms, it will be much easier.Funnily, I think it should be the other way round. If maxizanc have something to ask, he should have pm me or at least ask in our thread, no?Posting it here will only make everything worse when everyone butt in and add on their own comments, personal attacks and etc.Should maxizanc pm-ed me and asked instead of posting it here to discuss, I can't see myself butt in and you guys don't have to discuss about this past-tense issue for so long.

Like you said, if he don't like it, he can just leave it alone or perhaps pm me to discuss.I'm pretty sure the likes of mizvincible, sinoffire or sunnyk would not make such a big fuss out of it, seeing that it was an one-year-old post with dust all over it.

P.S:It will be better if you guys stop quoting any parts of our posts from our thread.Anything you feel like asking, ask in the thread.Over the past, much of our posts were quoted in here, some were even on the signature(take a damn look at creap's and ken's  -ken removed it already though).Everything happen with a reason.I'm not saying that I 'm saint.I made mistakes as well but I certainly wont insult others as dogs/prick at any point.Let's just put everything to a stop.Don't quote anything from us, be it in siggy or in your thread, things will turn worse if you guys keep doing it that way.

Anything else settle through pm.

You say Maxi making a big fuss about it. What about you?

What if tomorrow, a newbie see the post, get upset to it, post it here again and and .... ? A war break up again. sigh.

The post is already old and we already countered it with our view. Can't you let it died?

Can't everyone just STOP once and for all instead of dragging this issue further? It has been on going since the afternoon while I was at work and now I am back home and its still on going?

When I say stop, it means:

1. No more NEW reply from anyone regarding this issue

2. No more quoting of any existing posts/replies and post a new reply on this issue

Its not hard to co-operate and stop this, no?

You give the Pool supporters too much credit. They sing yes, but they're just as quiet as everyone else when they're losing bar the last burst of YNWA at the end of the match. Their fans left early during the Boro match for example and left Anfield when they lost to us there last season. So not the best benchmark to use.
*
Which begs the next question. Which is set of fans would you use as the benchmark then?

Fergie poised to strike again

QUOTE
James Robson
March 18, 2009

KARIM Benzema may have ruled out a summer move to United - but Sir Alex Ferguson has still been tipped to splash the cash on his forward line.

Even with Danny Welbeck emerging as an exciting talent at Old Trafford, United legend Andy Cole expects Ferguson to continue his love affair with strikers.

Cole is convinced Welbeck has the talent to become the rarest of species at United - a home-grown centre forward. But he knows from experience that an embarrassment of riches up front is not enough to dissuade Ferguson from scouring the globe for the best attacking talent.

"He loves a centre forward because he was one," said Cole. "Centre forwards win you football matches and if you get a top one your chances of winning are greater. He looks at it that way and if he wants to buy one he will look for the right one for Manchester United."

Despite having a £90m strike force of Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and Carlos Tevez at his disposal, Ferguson is a known admirer of Benzema, who would cost around £30m from Lyon.

Targets

The French international - dubbed the new Zinedine Zidane - was among United's top targets this summer. But this week the 21-year-old insisted he would remain at Lyon for another year at least, which could open the door to a permanent move for Tevez.

The Argentine's two-year loan deal, which has cost United £6m so far, expires at the end of the season. But the extra £26m Tevez' owners, MSI, want to make the deal permanent has so far proved a stumbling block.

The emergence of Welbeck this season may also colour Ferguson's thoughts, with the 19-year-old making an impressive impact in his breakthrough season.

But while Cole believes the exciting teenager - who has sparked a three-way tug of war between England, Nigeria and Scotland for his international loyalties - can become the first home-grown striker to graduate at Old Trafford under Ferguson's rule, he still expects the United manager to spend.

Cole believes Welbeck can buck that trend. "I like him and I think he has definitely got a chance," said Cole. "He is hungry. I've spoken to him and he is definitely hungry.

"But United have always bought a centre forward. That is this football club's history.

"United have got a history of bringing through midfield players and defenders but historically they've spent big money on a centre forward.

"I'm not saying Danny Welbeck won't make it - I think he will make it."

Mixed feelings on ultras... some of the more mundane ones are basically glorified bands of footie fanatics - club supporters who want a sense of belonging and togetherness, a more passionate version of a fan club if you may. Others are nothing but mischief makers. Some are blatant racists.

Like everything in life, too much of a good thing is never good - it is a thin line that seperates passion from hooliganism.

1st off, i apologize for restarting the topic. I just wanted to clarify the 1st part about MU fans not coming from Manchester. Anyways, let's move on to more important issues...

you gotta be kidding. shocking.gif i'd rather be a quiet fan than 1 that throws punches and chairs. Maybe NU fans are a better comparison. Hardcore to the max! (and half of them are crazy too!)

No need Benzema, just develop Welbeck. Hope SAF don't spend silly money when we have enough striking talent...

Gracias to Rafael & Fabio's mum! She's smart... biggrin.gif

Nah, he only said that because he was at LIV. He would have said the same if he came to MU. His loyalty isn't like Gerrard, if in a few years time more and LIV still fails to win the league and the UCL, I'm sure he'll be looking for another club.

When Torres played for Ath. Madrid, there was an embroidery underneath his captains' armband that read "You'll Never Walk Alone".

but seriously, if people like giggs, gary neviller (i personally hate his guts, but plenty of united supporters in manchester itself have nothing bad to say about him) and scholes cannot instill a sense of loyalty on the fella, no one can.

i have nothing against the system as long as welsh, irish and scots are classified as locals. otherwise it's a ridiculous system. anyways, there's a lot of opposition at the moment (especially from EU) so I don't think it'll go through anytime soon.

Heard there are even plans to implement a Euro League (or some sort) which would ultimately result in the demise of the EPL.

And cheers too blinky.
