ermm not upgrading, allocating more of my rams to Graphics for smoother gaming.

the driver will allocate it on the fly... there's no way that u can adjust it...

Hello I will be visiting Malaysia in about a couple of weeks and would like to buy a laptop.

Can some one suggest me some good ones, decent for gaming and some photoshop works.

I looked up those 2 models and they looked pretty good. Can some one tell me how much each cost??

This 2 model work good.But there is no more stock of this model in Malaysia. Not even 1 ..

hey pros here..I'm planning to get a new laptop over my toshiba M200..
here's my preference

1. Any brand but not acer
2. Max 4k (better between 3.2k to 3.8k)
3. doesnt lag and nice graphic when gaming etc...great sound..
4. 15 inch and above..and nice looking

Please suggest me with at least 2 models to pick from...thanks a bunch guys

True , Of course. You just compare the spec of all XPS laptop and BenQ S57 , u will know the difference in $ and performance

Why is 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670 Graphics Card on the Studio 16 XPS rated higher than the HD HD4570 GC in the Studio 15? Isn't the 3670 in an earlier series? Will the 3670 be able to play games like Fallout 3, The Last Remnant, COD, Devil May Cry 4? Thanks!

So the quality'd be pretty bad? The Studio XPS 16's already 4k are there any other good laptops with reasonable GC's for this price?

Bro, newer card does not mean it is better. Its something like high-end old card > mid-end new card. And im sure 3670 can run all games that you mentioned, but not in the highest setting like others said.

Ahh right. But I'm like looking at options, and I thought that 4k was sufficient to get a higher end card I checked the notebookcheck page, where they rank GC's, and the 3670 is right below 4570..so should I spring for the XPS or the Studio?

i can play most of the game with my 1++years old vostro 1500 with 8600gt and even GTA are playable, althought is not full, but playable.

HD 3670 - 120SP, 128-bit

HD 4570 - 80SP, 64-bit

that's the difference...
