ok my mistake, just found out, but seldom see ppl complain problem on 8700, because the main issue is from G86, not much on G84

Then go for 9600 or even QFX 3600M. biggrin.gif

Quadro is designed for professionals...

u can find them in business and workstation laptops...

as for building own laptop, Asus did release 1 before, but it's essentially usaing desktop parts in it... so there's no mobility to talk abt...

Ahh okay thanks. Just needed some confirmation haha. Before I was into computers, all I knew about was Dell and HP, which I suppose is why they're so successful. Now that I've seen BenQ and Asus, they seem to be underrated. I've been using Inspiron for way too long lol.

hey guys which one is better , Acer or Asus? after some research i found out that acer is cheaper but features are not compromised..quite value-for-buck. Asus , on the other hand, has a more a solid build and seems to be more superior. what do u guys say?

Acer - good spec for price

Asus 2yrs int'l warranty

depends on wat u want...

but if u re really gping for performance-price ratio, i recommend BenQ instead...

i wouldn't recommend Acer, many have bad experience with Acer.

it depends on your budget. try to get a laptop that suit your needs, brand come second.

because Dell and HP are leading the laptop market.

Inspiron? how is your dell now? dell seem to be fading in their quality. So far my 1 year plus vostro already claimed replacement on a harddisk, a dvd writer and LCD.

I used to have a latitute which are very good.

Hi. I wanna get a Laptop for my college and moderate-gaming purpose.

Brand : Not ACER, BenQ. More preferable to HP.
Budget : Below RM4,000
Specs : For presentation, hope it has a outstanding design (Not very important anyway). Has a GC that could handle games like L4D and CoD4. Must in C2D CPU. Backlit keyboard (if possible).
Size : Not too heavy, around 2-2.7kg. 14''-16'' screen.

I have a question here. Does Low Yat selling DELL's products? I'm new to Laptops. So, please explain in details. Thanks. =)

go for HP DV5 series.

Dell will be much cheaper on inspiron, vostro. Studio is new line so i cannot comment much. If really want choose dell i will only recommend Latitude or maybe Precision series

interm of quality HP are more solid.

Specs : image editing, gaming(optional) like left 4 dead.
Size : size and weight do not matter, preferably 15 to 17 inch.
