I was excited in the beginning too, but after waited so long for the Omnia II 16GB without any info for it's avaliability, I've lost interest already.

Decided to go for Firestone, if it is avaliable first.

Bored? Just started tongue.gif

Haha. Just applied invisible shield. Looked like crap when I 1st put it. Micro bubbles everywhere. But now it ain't too bad. Just afraid that it'll peel off after some time as I think some dust is starting to collect along the edges of the shield. Is it possible to wash the shield and re-use it? Its been like 5 days since I applied it.....

Oh and thinking of plucking out the connector port cover. Annoying when listening to music via headphones rclxub.gif

When it's new, it's still very static so will attract alot of dust. Just use a damp cloth and lightly wipe along the edges.
After sometime, when the IS had lost it's stickyness, there won't be so much dust anymore.

Yes. This had been discussed before. Just a few pages back.
And.....don't flush it down the toilet. laugh.gif

ah good to hear. Don't wanna put RM80 to waste just coz of some dust.

Regarding the connector cover, I've read it somewhere that its just on a ball joint which can just be removed by plucking the cover at right angles from the omnia's main body. Thing is...... my previous phone had a problem with dust sweat.gif
Never open the unit before and somehow dust went in through the gaps of the phone and went I went to get it serviced, the main board was like the sahara desert. Fine dust covering almost 60% of the board.
Just afraid that more dust will get in since the cover is meant to protect the connector port.

That's why Samsung put a cover there, but it's still not full-proof, dust will still slip through other gaps.

I thought you've started cooking ROMs for yourself already, why wait for Samsung? drool.gif laugh.gif
I think Samsung won't update anymore firmwares for our device already since they've already released the Omnia II. unsure.gif
