Planning to buy an omnia, wanna ask for some info,
what's the price for it now?(ori，new)
what accessories should be inside the box?
And is thr anything i should take note prevent being conned?
btw, i've seen in /k/ ppl says that the main distributor for samsung mobile is FMG, and the warranty is 18 months, is that true?
cause i've asked a seller and she said the warranty is only 12 months and it's ori...is she trying to con me or there's other distributor,
if there is, can anybody list it out plz

sms cannot save to internal or external storage? like that always need to delete sms message..

dandanwa : used to be 18months now all are 12 months.. so yes she is selling ori.

hwchua: i believe there's a tool on 1st page that can relocate the sms to storage. do check... i dont receive thousands of sms so i dont really care

Juz bought an Omnia 8gb gold yesterday... very ecited..

anyway, quick question, when i play media player and when the fon lock the screen, the track stop playing. How to overcome that?

Not sure about touch player but im using other 3rd party music apps and they all have the option to turn off screen but not lock the program when phone locks. So music still continues when locked. But for some reason I can only wake my phone up by pressing the power button...... Already set it to wake up when any hardware key is pressed but only responds to the power button

care to share the 3rd party apps?

I using S2U2 for locking. Very nice . after lock, music still keeps on playing in the background.

Fully CUSTOMIZABLE also.

yes and with the latest version can be combined with S2V then you can still have all the controls.

i'm using s2u2 now. BTW, how to set that thing so that my touch player won't stop when the fon is locked?

just bought used white omnia 3 days ago..
but still noob with wmobile n all the app..

one question,
why my garmin dont have coverage??

After reading from various forums on omnia device seems like my omnia need to replace the touch digitizer. reason being it does not align as it shud be.

any idea where i can get it and how much? my omnia is an oversea unit hence no warranty applicable here.

Clean your RAM. Use ClearTemp.
Search for the link in this thread, I've posted it somewhere here.

Backup your data and just try them.
If there's anything wrong or not compatible, just Hard-Reset oni mah.

just 30min before i received SMS and it nvr keylock it after notication on new receive msg...after i realized is about half hour ago and the phone abit heated...~

For autolock, go to [Start]>[Settings]>[Personal]>[Buttons] and check the checkbox shown in the picture.


If it's as you mentioned, just themes then it's okay.
The most your device won't load, but still can Hard-Reset with Hard-Keys.
