2 or 3 satellites are normal, u can get 4 or more with really clear sky in an open surroundings.
press the up button of the side of phone during a phone call will increase the speaker vol.

Added on July 31, 2009, 11:46 pmtheres another trick to increase various volumes of omnia. all u have to do is punch in some codes in phone keypad mode. that will toggle a hidden volume features.
i couldnt remember the codes, pls search in google.

Anyone know my phone wat happened for the white at right bottom corner of my screen?? What spoil? AP can warranty claim?? Or it turn become like this because invisible shield or the gum of invisible shield put too much??

AP can get warranty only from the seller, and not the manufacturer.

Cannot take cleared picture...cause it sure got reflections.

Guys, I thought that using my nail was normal, till I looked at some youtube vids and saw that you could use your thumb for this phone.
Got mine as a 2nd hand set, go figure.

Hello guys i'm a newbie to Samsung Omnia thread here... Now having some question need you guys help... Why my 8GB Samsung Omnia always show the sign of low in storage memory... Any solution bout this...

Oh and the tab on my omnia's connector port cracked along the middle. Zzzz... holding it together using selotape

always remember to install all apps in My Storage or Storage Card..
not My Device..unless u are ask to do so

Seems like your screen is damage. Did you ever press it too hard, drop it or put it near a magnet (I don't know)?

Go change it. If it's still warranty, try to claim it.

Why do you want to change your screen? Damage? It's not cheap, you know.

I don't know about Vista, didn't use it to flash before, but if you're talking about Custom ROMs, you can try THIS METHOD. I'm not sure whether it will work for Official Firmware or not.

i hava tried iphone & the screen is way better than omnia. its finger friendly & does NOT recognize fingernail.

WM device is not designed for that, yet. even if we have the same screen as iphone, we still lack of UI with finger friendly icon say 30x30 or above. there are WM skin that mimic iphone icon but not on all pages.

Don't understand what you want to do.

You want to use GPS, but want to disable it, if you disable it, then how do you use the GPS?

omnian, the SRS WOW HD is just a driver? or it is an application that can be run from program list?

It's a driver and you can choose settings in the program list.
I had installed it and left the setting as it is, but just check that it is enable.

It's working fine, get it for your device and see for yourself.
It don't take up too much space and won't affect your battery too.
Check your memory before and after install.

You won't regret it, I promise.

My phone is still under warranty.
The thing is, I cant use my thumb and I have to apply a certain amount of pressure to enter menus, etc.
Even for normal sms typing I'd have to use my fingernails. If not I'd have to press on the screen, rather than simply touching it. Isn't that what the "touchscreen" suppose to do? I'm not expecting iphone taps, but rather soft pressure, which mine has to exert quite abit of pressure. Or back to my fingernails.

Even if it's still under warranty, but if your screen has nothing wrong, I doubt that they will entertain you.

Do THIS, Soft-Reset and try again.
