Guys, I just bought a new Samsung Omnia
but I find that there is no backlight on the "call" and "end call" button under the touchscreen. under dark condition, impossible to see those buttons la. is it like this?

u'll nvr learn to use a WinMo if u r not even able to update official firmware..no offence..
n yes...memang no backlite behind button...+ u don't actually need them,u'll still be able to press them even under dark occasions...
basically..brick means totally brick...means u've done evrythg n nothg can save ur phone..tats wat we call brick...batu!!haha
most of us use leather pouch instead of silicone case..

2)leather pouch provides more protection + looks nice n elegant...

trust me if its under warranty they wont even ask why its damaged. i know... because i sent mine for warranty claim... no question asked.. except... "what is the problem" ekkeke

i got slip in pouch n flip up pouch...prefer slip in as more convenient..
if u accidentally brick ur fon...go to sc n say duno wat happen suddenly hang lo...haha

i have sony ericsson bluetooth handsfree....
but it cannot connect with my omnia.....
why????
any setting i must change 1st?
i think any bluetooth handsfree device can connect to any brand handfon....

yup totally agree wif u..if use cheap silicone case omnia looks like other cheap phones..
i tried once..but looks fugly hahaha..then cancel to buy it..

for now juz use original samsung hard case..
for begining so hard to use cuz still "ketat" ..after some time its ok la..easy to pull out already hehe..

currently using the ori samsung slip in case...
i kinda notice that the side where the stylus is hanged is not protected so the stylus moving about kinda scratches the phone a lil..

upon upgrading it says dont plug the cable out til the label becomes blue or your updater saying job done.
the cable is not loose also that it might be easily/accidentally plugged out by itself

i supppose most of us dun use the hanging stylus...
if u hv the ori slip in case..u can try to buy a slp in stylus as well...i heard it fits in nicely..
to me...finger is fine..jz do some adjustments/tweak to make it more finger friendly..
for eg. i m using SPB 3 nw..hehe

last time i tried pair wif motorola headset also cant connect..
at dat time using turks rom..maybe the problem came from the rom itself..
