Go to HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring\AttenuationCategory and change the value from 2 to 1. Wait for 20 seconds and soft reset.
Sorry. This tweak is for i910s only.

Still looking solution for i900s.

You don't have that registry?
The value cannot be changed?
There's no difference after the value changed?
Did you wait more than 20 seconds before a soft-reset?
Can you check the value again after soft-reset? What does it show?

Thanks but I've got the movie played flawlessly using media player. Weird enough, after changing some settings the coreplayer can't play it but windows media player can. 14 movies in omnia and counting..

p/s: divx player for windows PC is a crap one..you can see stripes all over

the value change that u gave is for what actually?

It's for changing from increasing ringtone to normal.
2 = Omnia default (increasing)
1 = Normal
0 = No sound

But I din try it myself. I prefer increasing, because my ringtone starts very loud.

Easier way to set your phone ring type.
Start>Settings>Personal>Phone, at Ring Type select; Increasing Ring, Ring or None

anyone using spb mobile shell 3 here facing battery problem?
like battery life draining so fast..

This easier method can't work, that's why the registry tweak. But report from lhongwuh, it seems like can't work also.

I told you it's a battery sucker.
I've uninstalled it last night and now my battery seems normal already.

been using this since 19th April midnight till today
with full charge right before installing spb3
now still left 30% battery life under normal usage, a bit of msn and 3g, calls about 1 hours per day, for me no power dint drain much also

maybe will start monitor my battery life to confirm this

So, if until tonite midnight, it's only 2 days.

For me, before installing spb3, with weather-script updating every hour, full-time wifi on and calls between 1 to 2 hours per day, my battery last me about 3.5 to 4 days.

With sbp3 and usage same as above, it only last for 1.5 day.

let me try if my phone can drag till 3.5 days or not
usually 30% can lasted another day or two depending how i use it...haha
