Guys, I just bought a new Samsung Omnia
but I find that there is no backlight on the "call" and "end call" button under the touchscreen. under dark condition, impossible to see those buttons la. is it like this?

Guys my Omnia having a really weird problem. Im using 8gb omnia, with latest ROM from Samsung. using Maxis 3g

I have setup according to maxis 3g mms setup. can browse and use 3g etc. already setup email account as well. can send and receive email. so far so good.

but suddenly, since a few days ago, my email can only receive. but cannot send out. Error: "Cannot sync with connection" something like that. Nevermind, I clear the setting and setup a new email account . Can use for a few days. Suddenly, this problem occured again. haiz.. same problem either using wifi or 3g. Does anyone have this same problem?

Maxis says their 3g service got a bit problem, so they ask me to set my network to Maxis GSM (2G). Thing is, I can seems to find the place to change my network setting to GSM
I go : Start->Setting->Phone-> Network->then I try to manually set network to Maxis(GSM) but the setting could not take eeffect and will revert back to MY MAXIS , then I try to go
Start-> Setting-> Connections-> then none of the tabs there let me change network service. Anyone knows how to do this pls help me Thanks

Hi guys, very weird. Under the drop down menu of Operator Setting, there is no Maxis 2g or Maxis 3g. There are "My Maxis" , "Digi", "Celcom", "Umobile". How to change to Maxis 2g?

Im using Omnia and HD and both also cannot activate 3g. Are you from Kepong area too? i think kepong are has problem. No matter how I set or even ask the maxis stuff to send the setting to my phone, 3g cannot be activated. Weird thing is, my sister's Omnia is in 3g mode, even so, she cannot video call others 3g user. So i try to change her setting from 3g to 2g but couldnt also. I can select Maxis 2g under Connection Setup but the setting doesnt take effect. Anyone else from Kepong area verify this?

Hi can somebody please teach me how to downgrade firmware for Omnia? i have downloaded a latest custom rom, and now thinking wanna switch back to original stock rom but when i try to flash it says "your device already has latest rom". pls help.

Hi i got another problem. Stucked at allign screen after hard reset. tried to allign countless time, already more than 40 mins i allign the screen but it still keep on asking me to allign. wtf?
i tried with stylus, hand, nail, pen, lidi, chopstick, needle, and i try so hard to accurately press the X spot. But is just keep repeating the stupid screen!
