i remove the only gmapbmap.img from garmin folder.. and now it show no map at all..

another thing is tat i install the Malfreemaps into the my tube.. and not to the PC.. does this affect anything?

Make sure the freemalsing map is in the garmin folder

Most reviews (such as gsmarena) mentioned that the tube has docment viewer and can view office documents (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF) out of the box. I found that this is not true. Checked FP but cannot find info on this. Any suitable freeware for such purpose.....just viewing and not editing?

quickoffice can be downloaded via your phone itself.
make sure you use free wifi or subscribe the unlimited package if not you will be charge a lot.

Is anyone using Nokia PC suite for internet connection? I'm using DiGi and I've successfully connected my Tube to PC suite via USB, and the "One Touch Access" in PC suite shows it is connected to DiGi via the Tube. But I'm not able to access to any webpages. It was okay with the Tube alone to access to the internet.

hi guys, i am having problem to log in msn on my tubey. but i manage to log in a month ago.....is this because i din update latest firmware so that i couldn't log in? msn keep showing me message ''can not allow login"

since u say u only have gmapbmap.img (basemap) in garmin folder I belief your malfreemaps is missing.

Since u say u "installed" into phone try do a search for gmapsupp.img (malfreemaps). If found anywhere else other than inside garmin, just move it to garmin folder and u should be ok

btw, u don't have to delete the basemap lar, it can co-exist ... as the name suggest, its the BASEMAP so it should be there so that garmin can show u where u are no matter which country you are at, just that for proper navigation u still need detail maps such as MFMs for malaysia ... happy navigating

I've already downloaded Quick office and Acrobat Reader from the Nokia site directly to my phone. Acorbat Reader is OK but my .doc and.xls still cannot be read. Got error msg "Unable to open. File type not supported". Perhaps I should reinstall and try again. Thanks anyway.

The s60v5 UI has been reviewed and one of the quirks is that on some items a single tap is required, others double tap. When the items are in a list, typically you need to tap twice. It's normal. For Garmin, please read the instructions on the front page. It provides you with all the details on how to install. To be safe, remove/unsinstall Garmin and follow the instructions exactly and you should be fine. There is no need to choose msia map, just save the Malsing map into the Garmin folder and Garmin should read it, have you installed the base files for Garmin. Once again check the front page.
