If you're heading to Saga & I assume you're coming from Kesas.
I suggest you take this path instead.

Never been there, just heard that it's very challenging due to the distance. Good luck! BTW, check this out.

IINM, the logging trail itself is 4km without shade.
please expect to climb on a bare rock using only rope. this is the most challenging part. never let go of the rope...

some write up and photo can be found in the klhiking meetup group.
http://www.meetup.com/KLhiking/events/128192862/

good luck!

is yours with studs? no need to worry, adidas kampung is awesome (especially on rocky surface)! Wasted RM400+ for Columbia's hiking shoe before I bought this, and I have been using it ever since. smile.gif

Handsome! But no backpack? tongue.gif

Yeah, with studs, very sturdy but went and bought another one for just in case
seller is myvicious666, selling adidas kampung goco rubber, the rubber is thicker than the normal ones
so far, i bought 2, neighbour bought 2 also
used it for gasing 4x, nuang 1x, saga 1x and coming rajah 1x tongue.gif

Woody loves hiking with me and loves exploring, his bag tends to get stuck between trees and bushes
so to save his life and my energy, i decided to not let him carry his backpack when hiking
he only carries it on his runs with me
i filled 2 500ml water bottle and let him carry hehehe
