Don't worry. There's a car park at the trail head where we have to pay RM2 per car. I think it should be safe.
Ok one less thing to worry about. Btw which hike is tougher tabur east trail or west?Travel Outdoor activities, hiking & camping, treking, rock climbing & more xtreme act

Drafted out my Nuang's plan.. set my finger crossed for this sunday. Kinda pressured as I am the organiser haha..
Summit attempt will depend on the group speed, the last thing you want to happen is someone being left behind. I want to do Tabur again given the chance.. done once few years back.. Quite a challenging one.. |

can the moderator pin this thread for good. i think this topic should be separated from the holiday destination topic. it keeps submerge into black hole and needed someone to bump it.
if i need to know if this kind of snake is dangerous, where should i be asking? i think it's best that an Adventurous or anything to do with camping and hikes is given a new space for discussion. There's too many of those Countries Topic sink this important discussion about climbing, canoeing, water falls, species, adventure gear etc. perhaps new Forum is open just for this rather than mixing with Japan, Langkawi, France Trip, How long to get my passport, where to get my passport... should it be under hobby or sport section? let's make a proposal so that more topics can be open under hiking, jungle trek, waterfalls, survival skills, knife , climb, type of shoes, backpack, canoe, GPS, compass, Man Vs Wild , adidas kampung, etc etc..

another problem is that not much popularity in these.. so having a specific topic would be difficult too.. generally you dont get to see much update over this thread either

Best would be to check d maps for d trails i guessAdded on May 7, 2012, 6:28 pm QUOTE(hackwire @ May 7 2012, 03:11 PM) is bkt gasing trail starts at the telekom tower or the temple. went up there and saw the temple route is closed with zinc door. is the hiking in bukit gasing only open for public during weekend or wat. i thought of going there to hike last wednesday but saw nobody there at around 4pm. patah balik and went to bkt puchong instead. there got more people. We also used the same route as naughtybones. And I think it's open during weekdays as well cos some aunties and uncles were telling us to be careful if going during weekdays, when it has lesser people. Though personally, I have never been there during weekdays.Added on May 7, 2012, 6:58 pm QUOTE(hackwire @ May 7 2012, 06:51 PM) yes many and some are 50% . take the staircase near the cashier to go up . u find all the camping gear there. backpack like deuters and karimor 30%. .
