Please refer yourself at Climbers Club. There might be people who are still active in jungle trekking.

Trying to find a campsite that can fill in around 35 person. Anyone without the crowd? Found only templer's park and Kanching Falls. Will it be crowded in Kanching Falls?

I think the base of Gunung Nuang in Ulu Pangsoon, Hulu Langat is suitable. It is quite near the city near Kajang and the river is cooling and drinkable after boiling and the campsites realtively safe within the forestry station. Sore point is you got to hike 5 kilometers to the camp site but parking facilities is good. For those fitter campers can hike up Gunung Nuang. I had an experience when I didn't turn up after the planned time that I was supposed to leave, the Penghulu came with a few guys on motorcycles to look for you. You have to register yourself at the Forestry Ranger station. icon_rolleyes.gif

It is a good place to camp for sure but the thing is they will be pitching their tent all around within a 500m radius and that place is pack with people during the weekend these days.

Seriously I do not like this group but if you cannot find a group to hike, perhaps you can join this.

Some of the difficulty they mentioned just too ridiculous for me smile.gif.

If you need any advice on hiking related, feel free to post your inquires at:-

I, myself start from a beginner but the rating for each area really depends on individual. For example, Gunung Nuang some rate as 5/5, but myself rate it as 1.5-2/5. Regardless what, just enjoy the hike and make sure no littering around smile.gif

Just wandering if they are any kids like me, going 17 in the year 2012 who wants to have some serious fun but whenever they call their friends to come with them, they friend's can only say " lazy and too expensive" even if its once a year. So yea, anybody wanna try some extreme sports?? Maybe, rock climbing? mounting climbing? Anything.. Camping, Hiking, Kayaking. Everything. So yea, i just wanna get to know you and hopefully we can be friends. And whenever there's an extreme sports event to go, maybe once a month we can go mountain climbing, we can always stick to each other smile.gif So.. YEAP! My name is Ray smile.gif
