Have you tried connecting using DVI/RGB/3RCA? If its still distorted then you can rule out connection problems.

Tried using DVI ---adapter --> RGB tested with excelent PQ with no text distorted
Tried using DVI ---adapter--> HDMI tested with test distorted but movies okie
3RCA did not test coz the cable provided in the box is not long enough.

tweek the refresh rate/ resolution settings to lower size looks ugly with big icons/ downloaded latest driver no luck too

Yeah, DVI to HDMI adapter (Brand New Cable)

Could it be, what nVidia claimed that HDMI/HDCP supported means it only support in connecting your CPU to LCD just to watch movies only... sweat.gif

I bet some of us here using CPU --> LCD to enjoy to larger viewing satisfaction nod.gif but no problems for your text distortion or picture shaded? hmm.gif

Nvidia gc cannot support 1080p cos the HDMI is just a conversion of DVI. It just a marketing gimmic. HDMI enable not 1080p enable. Furthemore you cannot boot using HDMI port in GTX295.

err a bit wrong and right here bro
hdmi 1080p is nothing actually other than a 1920x1080 at a lower refresh rate.

what u thik u wanted to say was native support aka bootup via hdmi,

third party gc's can but stock afaik havent seen one yet. other than the dvi dongle via dvi is not a problem.

all the graphic cards on the market now only HDCP. i hav my notebook which is only 8600GT and there is a HDMI port built. so i always use HDMI cable to connect between notebook and my HP h2408h. i never see a problem of distortion or whatsoever..

Nvidia cannot support 1080p? hmm okie let say cannot support how does the text will be distorted or image shadowed?

What about other ppl connect their CPU --> LCD TV? no problem at all? (nVidia Driver)

Weird....

So what is your solutions OlgaC4? i wish to use HDMI to fully enjoy with LCD TV.

Thanks
