Uninstall the current driver. Remove any remaining files/registry using Driver Cleaner Pro.
Reinstall driver and see how.

Im not sure whether ATi will work for this part...but since goggling for many days..it seems end of the day it brought up the issue by nVidia Driver....for title of "HDMI" distorted

Cant seems to find the word ATi for this issue "hope im right about it"
Even i asked around at Audiophile/LCD Thread/HTPC thread..no one give an answer... cry.gif

Im out of ideas....latest driver...good graphic card im assume sweat.gif
But i'm curious, y does the manufacturer printed the box with HDCP and HDMI supported..whereas this HDMI distorted issue is been awhile form 2008 (from nVidia forum and other article) wink.gif

1gb gives smoother gaming on high resolution screen ie. 1920x1200.

The GTX285 is an improved version of the 280. Architecturally the same, only difference is the the processor unit. The 280 had the old 65nm chip while the 285 has the new 55nm chip. This new fabrication allows for lower power consumption and allows the card to be clocked at a higher speed. =D

3rd party coolers look promising but i've read that some still claim stock reference is better since it exhaust hot air out of the case instead. btw im refering to the dual slot nvidia reference cooler. can anyone share their experience on this? let's say, like gtx285 reference cooler compared to the AC accelero extreme 280? thankyou thankyou!

I grab this chart from AceCombat for gtx280. AFAIK gtx280 and gtx285 use the same stock cooler.
But in this case, we just wanna see the improvement over stock cooler.

humm, imho, the extra memory could be for higher reso gaming, or maximum AA/AF setting, or some games just demand more vram
