hi guys
i just bought crysis and installed in my pc
after tat, i downloaded the 1.2 patch
whenever i try to run the patch, problems occur
"An error occured installing the package. Windows Installer return '1642'
i google the net and cannot find the actual solution
is it nvidia driver problem or patch error??
pls help me!

ok. so u sure u managed to install the patch for crysis? hope u can remember how u did it. I'm having problem with the warhead at the moment. same error 1642 message.

btw, i'm sure i got the warhead patch, not crysis war patch.

guys i think i off for nVidia graphic card coz whenever i connect it with HDMI to LCD my text distorted.....

so sad brand new 9800 GTX + DK cannot use even updated the new patches or driveers.....

think im going to change my GC to ATi...

IIRC , GTX280 using 8+6 pin pci-e power slot while GTX285 using 6+6 only 

lol..im not saying 512mb have an extra..
just saying there's no big effect..
as owikh84 1GB memory is better for high resolution..

well, mine is fine so far. i game more than 10 hours everyday. so far no prob except its hot cuz i never set any fanspeed or whatsoever, auto fan speed at idle 40%, during load i dont think it even reaches 90%, maybe that's why its hot.

wat problem? mine so far no problem...plus, really satisfy with its OC ability....

btw,54-56 idle and 70-75 load temperature for Nvidia reference cooler is pretty normal is it?

Just put up to 550w for safe precaution!
But then again I can power 280GTX with Corsair 550w
But no intense testing.....try at ur own risk.

coolermaster is good in everything except making good psu, that's a fact already.

yes, you've answered it correctly. DON't BUY, unless u r going to use it for lower end rig.

get corsair, not too expensive and reliable.

silverstone = more expensive, but offer more single rail solutions.

corsair is the way to go. enermax is also good, recommanded.

if you are going to use anything more powerful than GTX 260 or 4870, just don't go loose on the PSU.
