I got a lcd tv but i dont think its suitable for pc gaming and work... pls comment~ LCD TV is never suitable for PC work, even with FULL HD. If you find 22" is insufficient for you, go ahead and upgrade. I wouldn't go for 30" because it would be uncomfortable sitting at a close range to a 30". 26" is the max for me.

QUOTE(blindbox @ Mar 11 2009, 10:27 AM) H-IPS isn't . They have the best of all LCDs now. Response time, viewing angle, colours, you name it. Anyway, anyone here has experience with Samsung 2433BW? EDIT:Information error. The specs is written here http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/c...bsd1&l=en&s=bsdstated "VA - Vertical Alignment & IPS - In Panel Switching" do u think this IPS is the H-IPS u mentions ? How come we going to gamble either VA or IPS ? it's say "&" and it's NOT "or" so confuse

If I'm going to leave the computer on for a very long time without actually being in front of it, is it better to switch off the LCD monitor or let it just automatically go to power saving mode?
Which extends the LCD monitor's life longer?

QUOTE(lord14383 @ Mar 12 2009, 03:43 AM) 1.the DCR for Dell S2409W only have 1000:1, it will look like not so colourful compare to the Samsung T240(20000:1)? Can't use DCR to compare..... If really want compare....how about Dell G2410 1,000,000:1 vs samsung T240 20,000:1? Samsung T240 DCR only stand 2% of Dell G2410 DCR.......which is DAMN IT....WHY SAMSUNG SO LOW!!!! But ya....I agree samsung color look nicer cuz of DCR.....but samsung haven't mature their DCR technology yet..... Look at >>> http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/523/45180836.jpg
