What is bad is if you started supporting other clubs if your club went through a barren spell.

I always thought the above is the definition of "glory hunter" ...?

Those who "setia" towards one and only one club, but only open mouth to complain during bad times... are sort of like Glory Hunter but not so serious condition yet... laugh.gif

It seems as though MU has won all trophies already, no more talk needed. tongue.gif

As for Manucho, maybe sheep needs time to recharge his man-protein after the jizz-worthy last min goal. icon_question.gif whistling.gif

I don't get it, why is "Glory Hunter" a bad word?

Everyone wanted their club to taste success i.e. Glory.

Guess why we are the fans that always being labeled as "Glory Hunter" ? Or you all always notice " Go support Man Utd and be a glory hunter then" ? Its because United are the most glorious team, period brows.gif

Perhaps it has to do with our Glory Glory Man Utd chant ? What if Chelsea ? Blues Hunter ? How about Arsenal ? Liverpool ? tongue.gif

At the end of day, it doesnt matter la what team you support, as long as the loyalty is there flex.gif

Glory Hunter is one who only supports the team during the glory times and do not give a feck and jump ship when the team is not winning. Should be shot and let them sleep with the fishes.

Sometimes I do envy and respect Liverpool fans in term of their loyalty towards the team (not saying we dont have such fans but I havent rilly gone thru the day United been in not-winning situation since I support the team so I dont dare to say much about it). Hope to have more this kind of supporters in our team smile.gif

Woah. I just saw an Eduardo goal.

Why won't Berbatov score like that! Cheekiest volley I've ever seen!

yaya we went empty handed from 2003-2005... that was the dark age we suffered that long since I started support them in the 90s where Giggs started flying down the wings with his long curly hair.

But if not mistaken, we won the Carling Cup in 2005/06... and that's the kick start of our major trophy in 06/07.
We always did well after winning the Mickey Mouse Cup, won it in 91/92 & 05/06 and u can see the impact after that <- it's a fact i tell u

oi! can i join u pigi hartamas square!! im a hunter! u cheng me beer!

that is not my point okay. did i mentioned the other thread as Liverpool, Arsenal or Aston Villa fan or thread?

My maint point is here:

QUOTE
Why they always referring Man Utd fan as glory hunter fan without knowing them well. Like they know every man Utd supporter. Like Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea fan have no such fan. really hate this.

QUOTE
they always referring us as a glory hunter

mellow.gif oh,my bad then. well i suppose thats because mu won most title recent years, and 5/10 so called fans don't even know who is SAF, or still think beckham is mu player. the ratio is higher.

same goes to J.M. chelsea-era, all refers it to the curent winning team.

so, if liverpool or arsenal wins the title, we're have fans that don't even know who is rafa benitez.

conclusion : whose the winning team, the ratio of so-called fans is higher

In any case, shouldn't united fans treated with more respect? All I see, especially from your thread, "Mancs know nuts about football or the history. They are glory hunters."

Not being a sour grape here. To be honest I could care less about this whole thing but when there's a problem, United fans are always the first to blame. And then there will flamebaits and blah blah blah.

I bet, not all those who excitedly recognises themselves as a Pool fan knows the history of Pool. For all they know, they hated United for its successes in these recent years and chose to support anything but United.

For other instances, we've seen the same thing with Chelsea. I genuinely believe they do have real fans. Which knows the likes of Gullit, Zola, Hoddle, Vialli and others.
