they replaced the 10g card at chongming and kitaibaraki.. last night around midnight so i heard.. anyway i was at my home tested and download's back to normal! HUZZAH!

(there's still 5g link still down though.. which i think that ship will have to go out and repair..)

download speed back to 50-70 rarely 90kb/s
well since is not my full download speed.
i think there still some bugs in streamyx. ?? that need to be fix.

my browsing is ok but then downloading is still very slow. 1mb package but dl is like 15kbps. @.@

i think complaining to skmm works coz after i sent the online complaint form, they called me this morning and asked me about the complaint i filed and was extremely nice to me. what a realistic world!

errr last night before i went to sleep it was page 58...now back to page 40..and connection is restored...no more v2... too bad....

all the cursing and ranting gone...haha

my home streamyx still giving problem on connecting to vpn~

but my RS speed still sux like sh|t....average 15KB/s

morning is back to normal ~
download wat also full speed ~

but after working time ~ all have been "back to normal" , now dl file also not more than 10KB/s ~

my antivirus also uptodate!!.. ohoho...

I had the luck to speak with someone who knows how the inside of streamyx works.

According to him, the IP that you can get depends on which 'station' your line ends at. This one depends on the area that you're in.

Some of the station are preallocated certain IP ranges. Like my office we can only get 115 IP and that's tough luck.

Some of you, can restart modem a gazillion times, u'll still only get 115.x IPs, because physically you're in the node which only have 115. This one is preallocated, and there's nothing you can do about it.

anyone from penang here have feel their connection back to normal ??
can share what ip range are you using ?

mine not only RS but almost all type of download also sux,
including loading lowyat website also slow....
