Lol. My house is just 300m from the coverage. It's more frustrating that way. Don't know when will they cover my house. cry.gif

In the coverage map, there is no coverage for Taman Connaught, Cheras but when I tried it there, there's HSPA coverage so if your area isn't in the coverage map but somewhere nearby is in the coverage map, there's a high possibility that your area is covered although it isn't in the coverage map. smile.gif

Does anyone know if i can use my existing digi line together with this?

Currently i'm on edge using my postpaid line and i use my phone as a modem. Would be cool if i could just switch from edge to bb without having to get another sim and use my existing phone as modem...
*
Nope. They cant combine at the moment.
Got a call fr Digi few days ago, asking me to set up new OCS account.
But I told them I already got one Digi postpaid line and asked them to combined postpaid + broadband under one OCS account.
They said No to me doh.gif
Apparently Digi still have teething issue on billing and account management between call service and data service.
Hopefully later on they will sort it out.
Now I got to log into different ocs accounts to monitor my usage.

Well DiGi is really strong around Petaling Jaya and considering that the amount of subscribers at the moment is still less than the other 2 big players, we will have to wait and see whether they can cope with it in the future but for now based on my experience, DiGi is at the top of my list. smile.gif

Maxis and Celcom too are quite well at the beginning of the stage when not many subscribers are using it.

We need to monitor longer until all the guniea pigs start using it to judge on the actual acheivable speed.

It's mobile broadband, not for you to p2p from home.

That's good to hear. I'm staying in bandar sri permaisuri and my condo is just 300m from the end of the coverage area (bdr tun razak). I've been checking the coverage every few days and seems like its expanding steadily. I'm sure my house will be in the coverage area soon smile.gif.

Very easy to detect the coverage... use your 3G phone.

Under "Network" you can manually set to detect the network services. If you only see "DiGi GSM" service, then no coverage. If you see "DiGi 3G" service, then go to the nearest DiGi Outlet to subscribe the DBB. Besides, it's kind-of "contract-less" maaa....

The only thing you would not know is how strong the DiGi 3G signal is....until you plug-in the SIM card into the modem and watch the signal bars to be in one, two, three, or...full...

You cannot check this via phone? I mean by choosing Digi 3G to be your preferred network? blush.gif

If that is the case, then there is no 3G coverage in my area. sad.gif
When I choose that as my preferred network, seems like there is no signal.

Thanks for the information.

Is coverage area at Digi Website updated most of the time, or we have to check it manually with the Customer Service Representative? biggrin.gif
