Hi guys i just signed up a DiGi BB package with Rm58 and rm15 for the modem which is rm73 per month(speed might be decrease to edge after i exceed the quota) in penang...i wanted to sign up for the RM48 plan but i don't get to buy the E1550 modem,i have no choice but to choose that Rm58 plan + Rm15 modem per month...so is it worth to go for Rm88 per month with free modem and 10GB usage...??can i buy the E1550 modem without the Rm58 or 88 plan?? and the 58 plan is it unlimited after i exceed 3Gb quota i wouldn't be charged 0.15sen/mb??

I just asked a sales person and he told me that they will not charge that 0.15/10mb for the first year. Not sure how true is it. Maybe anyone can give a lead to this?

I am not sure whether my plan is unlimited or not...i made a call to CS what they told me were no such things as unlimited...after i exceed the quota fees will be charged... ...so i am confuse now..i plan to upgrade to the 88 plan...safer...and just add another rm15...oh ya...can i upgrade my line by calling this number (0162993333) ??

my fren registered 2 days ago this package... with free E1550 modem!

People usually confuse on the term of "unlimited"... first of all, there is NO UNLIMITED AT NORMAL SPEED for most of the packages in the market... if you really want UNLIMITED AS NORMAL SPEED, then you have to pay more...

The unlimited here means UNLIMITED BROWSING WITH CAPPED SPEED AFTER EXCEED THE QUOTA...

For your RM58+RM15 modem Discover package, it should be the original Discover package where Digi will charge you at RM0.15/10MB after your 3GB usage. I heard someone didn't get charged for this but this assumption is NOT safe!

The new Discover plan (I see promotion in Gurney Plaza yesterday) at RM48/month for first 12 months will not charge you extra when over the 3GB.

You can definitely upgrade your Discover to Explore but I don't know if you entitle for the RM88 as it's only for new subscriber.

I guess will just stick to my plan since the agent and the CS promised that i wouldn't be charged after i exceed 3GB...did digi lower anybody's speed to EDGE after you exceed here??

FYI the student/campus package whatsoever called that is 58rgt/month(free modem) is unlimited,
like ks98 said unlimited with no charge but wthe speed is capped(edge) after u reached the quota of 3g...


noted that u kinda with original discover pckg rite, surely it will cost u when u use over the limit,
juz keep it low, or else money matters for u

mine discover campus.. already using 10-20Gb this month (loose count after 5Gb), no slow speed maintain at 1Mbps..
