I just checked today and Honda service centres only open for half day on Saturday and closed for the Sunday. Only the sales division opens 7 days a week.

Oh yah, my bad.. I was referring to Sales Division. Sorry.

If you buy from Honda Malaysia, it will cost you RM4,750. But if you buy from Honda SA, it will be RM2k+. The second one will not be original (most probably Taiwan), but if they can somehow source from the factory which makes original, then it's good la.

However, there are forumers selling a good replica from Taiwan for RM1,800 (paint + installation) using PP Material. Are you planning to get one too?

monday is public holiday, so tuesday is the earliest.. im gonna call their service manager and make it their top priority.. if it possible.. btw, what happened to ur car? just show ur urgency, maybe they will do something.. that is the positive things that i can make out from sri utama.. but still reserving my judgement..

Like that also can... Seriously, go make BIG noise to your SA, showroom, HM... If i were you i'll try my best to get the whole car replaced. It might be a lot of hassle, but like what sysh said, in the long run you might encounter more probs if your car really is a bad one.. Just that one car out of 1000 which probably failed the QC, etc.

Its just unfortunate these things happen.. I guess it can happen to any car, I've even read of a brand new Audi R8 which burst into flames...

Not yet, but I think Larry (ivtec2) should be doing his 5k service soon after he gets back from his Penang trip.
Can check with him then. What's ur concern?

so far just did my 1k service after drive for 1 week and does anyone facing the water dropping sound while u are driving > 80km/h during raining ? it kinda like.... the water sound came from ur side doors....

i’ve done survey at local tyre shop at my area but cannot find single shop selling 185/16/55 tyre. so that, i planned to change to aftermarket rims and tyres. anybody know pcd, offset and tyres size that compatible with NHC?

Current NHC use is new tyre so many shop wil not have it.
IF u change yr tyre then u can only choose 205/55/16...
but the rims will wide a bit just goto tyre shop to see see loh ..
not so recommend to change FC will increase ...

185/16/55 goodyear excellence Tyre cost you RM300, if u getting from honda.
it will shipped from malacca honda plant to the service centre.
according honda, this size of tyre will come out to market after 3 months.
if change other size of size, i believe FC sure will be affected.

hey bro..just back from melaka..with my baby (NHC)..just share with u all my conclusion for my trip to melaka with my NHC:
1) Happy : the FC really good..i get 18.4km/l..i think no problem with full tank can reach 550KM plus if highway drive..
2) Unhappy : my Baby really underpower..when pickup..really dun feel the acc. When i side by side with avanza (7 ppl inside the car) with my NHC (3 ppl inside the car). the avanza really overtake me when pickup from trafiic light..HOW COME?? i do used s mode with paddle shift..do the avanza driving skill too good? or my driving skill to bad??

Overall NHC is quite stable even in highspeed cornering..my record so far for highspeed was 150km/h..quite statisfy for the stablility of NHC..

FYI, Avanza is a well-known underpowered car. Most probably the guy full throttle his accelerator. You wouldn't full throttle because it's a new car. Don't spoil your car.

i onli can get 15++ driving on highway,b'coz most of the time driving at 120km/h or 130km/h. mileage clocked is 1k.
i think u should be driving at ard 90 or 100km/h rite?
ya one thing i am agree, this car is stable at high speed 120-130 km/h. no more floating feel as previous gen city as this speed. (03' idsi) dun shoot it 120-130 km/h is normal or wat... come on. this is 1.5L engine. wat do u expect from this range of car.
