Silver is the easiest to maintain, no doubt.
From the list of owners that I've collated, PMM and CBP are the most common color on the road.
Followed by Silver, Blue and Biege. Depends on what you like, I guess smile.gif

To be precise, the owners are all Malaysians smile.gif
But if you might ask, it was merely a coincidence

It's because original has rubber lining... That's why it's visible.

Darn.. that's really bad luck indeed.
What did the service centre say? And how long did they estimate that your car will be out of order?
Well.. the best thing to do is make a lot of fuss. I would suggest they change another car, but the hassles
would be too great. What I can think of is that since this is an exception, make sure they give you like
extra service, or free service coupons, freebies etc etc for your troubles (makin u wait for 1.5 hrs). Tell them,
even if it's fixed..there's a tendency the car is a lemon, ..bound to have problems in the future unless the problem
was just something minor. See what they can give you in return.

I think you're just unlucky (havent heard of this before), but do make sure you screw the service centre for a terminally ill car.
Yes, the honda service centres are usually open during weekends (Sat and Sun). Monday however is a public holiday, and they
might just be closed. Where did you buy ur car from, if I might ask?

First, I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. Make sure you make some noise and claim whatever discounts/rebates from your SA.

There's once an incident i KL where 2nd generation of CR-V K20A4 engine burst into flames. The lady owner made a hell of noise and even went to press. Honda Malaysia engineers did a post-mortem on the engine, but couldn't find the fault. To be sure, they send back to Honda Japan for further testing. The reason is a bolt in the engine is not fixed, hence it made the engine burst into flames. Eventually, Honda Malaysia apologised and replaced a new CR-V. This was 4 years ago incident, if I'm not mistaken.

You can use the paddle shift in both D and S mode.
Difference is in D mode, it's a temporary override of the automatic transmission where for example, you shift from 5 to 4 (to overtake), but it will shift up after a few seconds when you increase ur speed. S mode, it holds on to the gear that you're on so you have to manually shift up or down. But do take note if you are in 5th gear and you slow to a halt, in both D and S mode..it will still drop back to 1st gear automatically.
