I think if you're getting about 14 km / litre with mostly City driving, that's decent.

On pure highways, I can easily get 16 - 17 km / litre (over long stretches). And that's not the usual 80 - 90kmh, but 120 kmh - 130 kmh

On the top of tyre pressure, I usually go 220kpa for the Front, and 210kpa for the rear. Just +10 from the recommended at the side of the door. No significant difference though

I just went for 1k service just now.

I personally went to see what the technician was doing.

ACtually they dint do anything. All they did was just check engine bay, open here and there. And then, habis.

After filling up with Vpower the other day ,my FC improved. Now I can get around 12.1km/l but still it aint good.

Duno whats wrong with my car.If i fill back shell super ,sure the average go down back to 11++km/l

This is what they did to my car.Just blow the dust away.Clean the air filter.

Oh yeah, besides that I saw these technician connecting his laptop to one of the NHC being serviced there.Anybody know what is he doing? Looked like he was reprogramming the car system. No idea though.

If they bring out or disconnect what ever related to the computer box (e.g; airbag, abs etc) they need to reprogram the device.. the airbag or abs will never works if they didnt reprogram.. now most of our car are computerize.. it normal.. i'm not sure if they reset the ECU also from that software.. but i guess everything from there..

Do you experience some weird sound that come out from the car when u speed over 150km/hr? the sound is like a warning tone that come out from a buzzer.....

I am also an owner of a E Spec City, but the other day i drove till 165km/h.Dint notice any tone coming out from anywhere.

But the thing that i notice was the swaying.Man,the car swayed like crazy.I was like fighting with the steering. When the car swayed left,i fought back and turn the steering slightly right.

Yes. Unfortunately most NHC drivers are experiencing this problem. Me too. > 130 kmh, it can be quite apparent.
I'll be fixing my anti-roll bar and strut bars soon. Will let you guys know whether that helps..

You could still sign up in the Forums first. At least get to know the rest of the crew there. We've got > 150 Forum members.
Oh yah, it's HC3.. not the other way round.

In relation to the body kit, actually we're getting an Official Members (OM) price so it's cheaper then non-OM price which
they are quoting RM2,300 - RM2,500 (since they actually supply to Honda Showrooms)..

How do i sign up? i'm getting my car most probably mid of June.. and still considering to install a ori BK or not.... it's really expensive thou..
does the HC3 also entitled to get nice price on other stuff like the techlock/boottrunktray/sidestep???
oh and also pps and silicon wiper.. anybody here done that soon?

sorry, noob Q here.

what the anti-roll bar and the struts do actually? keep hold of the chasis?

we did a highway run last week (the car was just 4-5 days old) and yeah, once it hit 120-130, it became unstable. but to not such extend we were 'fighting' keeping it straight. but it was apparent.noticeable.

could it be the tyre width? i am not changing any rims whatsoever, thus ruling out tyre size change. i'd like to know how the bars settle the swaying-on-high-speed problem. keep us posted. will ya? thumbup.gif

for the new NHC, i have no idea yet as i am also planning to install the ARB and front struts.

however, my bro has the previous gen Honda City. Before he installed all these, his car is even more noticeable swaying left and right during high speed than the NHC. After he installed a ARB and a front struts, this matter gone and no swaying problem even speed >130. besides, i found the ARB for previous gen honda city and NHC is different. seems the ARB for NHC is a bit smaller. in addition, i guess the tyre size is also 1 of the issue of causing the car swaying.

so, I am also still waiting for the feedback from those who had installed the bars. thanks for sharing 1st smile.gif

yup, the floating feeling at high speed is a negative point for this car.. i used to drive a type z city vtec from 2003 - 2009 even at high speeds no problems at all... now changed to new city e spec and have fear driving fast!!! maybe it is done on purpose to discourage us from driving fast! smile.gif

will check the warning tone out during my 5K service since nobody is aware of it, i might only the one who is facing the problem coz checking with my sales agent, service agent, honda malaysia, frens and this forum also no people hear it ....
that day i was on the highway and road is quite straight so the swaying is not so obvious, quite acceptable.
Will update later when i do the 5K service and check with the service agent, according to him, he wanted to test drive the car at the Duke highway to get the speed.... thinking why the service centre at sri utama, setapak branch there no such equipment to jack up the car and run the tyre as testing enviroment.

hi, I think this problem have been discuss in official NHC forum there.

it is windscreen problem... i have that problem and already fix by honda there. now speed up to 190km/h also no sound edi. it cause of the rubber which support on your windscreen. i believe that ur windscreen rubber is not fix well... u can check ur rubber, izzit straight line? if just a littre curve line also will cause of that sound. this is my SA tell me after they get the report from HQ.... do tell your SA and ask them check together with u on that sound.
