Added on May 14, 2009, 4:23 pmCan anyone advise me? I have booked my City E Spec in March, SA said will get it only in July. Last week SA called me tat car is available this week! Two months earlier! I just got my loan approved but with 3.4%.

If i applied during booking in March, i could get rate as low as 2.4%... any idea of rate dropping in the coming months? paying extra 60+ per month not worthy.

We won't know when it will drop again. Highly likely in the near future it won't move much.

You should apply to bank early before interest increase. Once bank approved your loan, their will issue Letter of undertaking (LU) to your dealer. That LU usually will valid for one month since the date of issue. The Bank will follow the interest rate at LU for one month before your car is register in JPJ. Even the LU nearly reach one month, you can actually request Bank to extend the LU without invalidate the original LU to avoid change of interest rate.

By the way, I think your SA did not done his job le. He should inform you to apply hire purchase before interest increase. In my case, my SA informed me the interest will rise on Friday (Next Monday Banks increase interest rate) and I even submit my inform. to bank officer on Saturday (although bank is not open on that Saturday, but their staffs still OT on that day to key-in all last minute application before interest increase). The bank did approved my loan at lower rate and my LU can valid until 20/05/2009. I am getting my new car on next Monday (18/05/2009).

P/S: Those SA should know the interest rate will increase before it effective date since their always deal with bank officers. Bank officers can get those information faster than the media press since their got those information from their internal memo.

I just realised that since I am quite big size,not fat but BIG.I have some difficulty coming in and out of the car.

Since the NHC door frame arches quite low towards the front,I have to bend my neck when I want to go in the car.And when I wan to get out,I would have to bend my neck again,if not my head will rub the ceiling of the car.

SO i find it abit annoying cause the seat is already at the lowest possible height.

And the NHC has no panic alarm button.This is also another important thing left out.

Besides that,while driving,I feel that my left leg keep rubbing against the silver lining near the gearbox there.I think the seat there is too narrow.

I dont know why I did not experience this during test drive.When i got my car,all this minor but irritating things start to pop out.But no doubt the engine is smooth and the ride quality is excellent!

My SA here in Kuantan offer me carpet mat,full tank petrol, and v-kool 63 for 1.4k originally cost 1.8k..is it true v-kool 63 cost 1.8k?gud offer or not?coz thnking go to jalan 22 pj this saturday coz i got best deal there.1k rebate,tinted voucher rm500 n full tank petrol but scared buy kereta jauh2 if got problem its not easy to c SA n go there..jalan 222 got many alrady booked i tot i can get car more than 3 month.....plz me gv me some advise...

Yeah, SA didn't do his job. He said by the time he heard the news it was friday, thinking saturday was off and nothing could be done, he didn't inform me ai...

Too sad i am thinking not to take it first, leaving the deposit with them till any good news of interest rate in coming few mths perhaps many buyers cancel off their bookings due to this reason, thus i can get the car so soon, anyway i will be one of the others who turn away as well.

Hey guys', i juz saw a thread outside saying suspension got ngek ngek sound. My city has that prob when going pass those short bump. Can i claim warranty on this?

sounds like the suspension is grinning lol. maybe is the suspension spring that causes the ngek ngek sound, quite norm rite?
