That 20.0 km/h reading izzit when the tank is still 3/4 full?

i am very light foot also. but i nvr even can reach 14km/l. no matter how, always around 12km/l-13.5km/l. quite unsatisfied with this.
so do i need to reset my ICU? anyone here has reset the ECU and found the fuel consumption gets better?

1 more thing. any NHC users here had installed the LED side steps? mind to share out here? besides, i found there is only 1 type of spoiler available for the NHC. any others had installed a different design? your sharing is highly appreciated!

Yes about that.

i reset my meter and start driving from seremban-bukit pelandok (no highway) and it read 20.0km/l
going to reach 21km/l but i step more (climb cliff) and it reduced to 20.0km/l

you should ask honda service center about that. but i guessed mostly ppl got 13-15km/l average..

Upsize to 215/45/17 already but the rear spring is too soft..only 2 passenger behind(around 120kg for both)...go through uneven at low speed, ~60kmh..the tyre scratch the fender

Manage to add 2inch spring rubber for rear coil spring...solved the problem

owh no wonder, when u pump fuel usually the meter will reset 1. So the reading when u take is most probably on down hill which would not be accurate. Take your reading again after the tank goes empty it should probably be around 15 km/l

What pressure do you guys fill up your stock tyres with?

I follow the recommended tyre pressure at the side of the door there but it feels very soft.

Too hard later vibration will harm engine parts... Better follow front 220 kpa bak 210 kpa

What do you mean by it's very soft.., do you mean the sidewall? The goodyear Assurance is rated as HP only, cornering flex is very much noticeable..try to look for UHP tyre

For stock tyre, i always overinflate abit, 230-235kpa for front while rear 225-230kpa

YES,the sidewall looks as though like the tyre is flat like tat...

Took hard and fast corners on the way up and down Genting (Goh Tong Jaya) earlier today. The tyres were okay, but a little scary taking high speed corners on those 185s. Quite a bit of bodyroll..but not to the point of squealing yet, thankfully. Could use some ARBs and strut bars

Woah...did my 1k service and ask Honda SS to tune back my FC...

so, i'm quite satisfied...Highway 80% with the speed of 110-130 manage to get 17.9km/l, 335km with RM30

Good for you.. i also get almost the same like u.. for high way drive normally get around 17km+++/l.. and sometime 18km+++/l

wasei. u guys NHC FC damn good. How come same model but so big different FC results we guys have...sad... =.=''

i think i muz complain about my FC while 5k service. Retune it and get the FC like u all. NHC is popular in getting fabulous FC. so result of 12-13km/l should not belongs to NHC.

when u go for 5K service, complain about FC and asked them to reset the ECU..
You will feel a lot of different after 5k service..

i already feel the difference after my 1k service

so they reset the ECU, and ur FC improve. quite dramatically cause with all the lightest foot oso i onli got 14.3km/liter.

how about the other things, low pick ups? to compensate the high FC?

I never reset the ECU.. but still get good FC.. as i mention before..

I do feel the pick up more responsive than b4.. may be bcoz I'm using the semi syn oil..
engine run very smooth n no need to do deep rev like b4 ..

Over inflate 1 or 2psi is ok...hardly make any difference on FC.

If you want kasi corner, then change to performance tyre.
For Stock or comfort tyre, it is design for comfort, never go and overinflate too much to made the sidewall harder, you'll end up having less grip and buang into longkang..

any body know still got old model honda city? if yes around how much ? got any special discount?

emm.. if want to get the new one (old city) i dont think u can get.. but for 2nd hand plz ask any car dealer..
