My cash rebate was from rm1k increase to rm1.2k plus other free gift and 1 full tank hehe thx to my mum nego skill. I am getting my car on next saturday. Once get the car, straight away go to tint with Ecotint from a lowyat forumer here. (Gold color tint or silver color tint looks better with PMM body color?)
Excited! biggrin.gif

* By the way, how much u guys pay to tender a number? My SA quoted me rm450 min for a basic simple number? I thought is only rm200++?

And where's ur showroom again?.. sweet deal smile.gif
Btw, how much is the forumer quoting you for the Ecotint..and the specs? (sorry if this question has been repeated).
*
It's at Klang, Nanyang haha nego job my mum done it all. Really amazed coz my mum can get 1.2k cash rebate even at last minute before getting my car. Which, further with free gifts (1 umbrella, 1 T-shirt), 1 set modulo door visor (suspect is replica), and 1 full tank. Guess my mum had made the manager sweat tongue.gif He promised had only given others by rm500 + free gift maximum.

Well for the tint from Ecotint, I am getting Ray Barrier which priced half plus a thousand. I read a post from a forumer stating Ray Barrier with 1.3k? hmm.gif
VLT=63%
UVR=99%
IRR=95%
10 years transferable warranty

Sysh, nice pics!! biggrin.gif
anyway i am getting my car next saturday. Already signed the loan, bought my number, now waiting SA to complete the final stage for me. smile.gif
After getting car, first thing will do is tinting.

Where u guys install the auto lock?

Besides, today saw a steering lock which called "Stop Lock" and price rm220 but didn't buy it. Wanna refer here for better suggestion in buying a car lock.

1 more thing is the alarm. If i am not mistaken, I remember there was a forumer here sent somewhere to do some wiring and relocate job which cost rm20 only then he said the alarm sound has currently loud enough. Anyone else has done this?

Must do matter in First stage
1)tint
2)auto lock
3)alarm sound

hi guys. How much pressure should pump for this NHC tyres? I remember reading from this forum u all complaining when getting car the tyre pressure is extremely over right? so when the time u all get the car, must need to go and release all 4 tyres' pressure?

Saturday just collected my NHC PMM E spec. drive for 3 days already. Feel satisfied on it. luckily the previous discussed problem regarding the gear sluggish changing matter doesn't really bad for me, enjoy the audio system much, and overall quite comfortable especially the rear seat. Haven't installed anything yet for it. Just the Ecotint solar + safety tinting, the mat, hanger and sun shade. Currently looking into safety gadget like brake lock or steering lock. Might getting a boot tray when there's released after market. Besides, probably need the side step to avoid scratching. Exterior part, guess nothing much need to add up. but looking into the spoiler. Dun like the Modulo spoiler. Guess the Mugen spoiler will be a killer look. hope so. nod.gif

Lovin' it smile.gif

any taker here ??  laugh.gif
*
mine is BKG 8XX8 PMM
but that car surely not mine coz i was not around there jz now tongue.gif tomorrow will be doing my 1st service
by the way, been filling petrol for few times, everytime also below 13km/l... not very happy with that coz i drive slow and within 3k rpm all the time.. sad.gif while i can see here a lot of NHC user simply get 15km/l or above
hope after 1st service will be getting better

regarding the 30mins call, i also have received it last week. The person told me the same thing, will be giving the free gift. I have answered the call for around 25mins. besides, Honda has post a appreciation letter and request to give a feed back and post it back to Honda. smile.gif

The air con is so loud when switch to 3rd. Dun even say 4th =.=''
well, it's like myvi too. My another car myvi also same like this. Keep on and off the fan. I think this is normal.

regarding the FC, I admit this NHC has poorer FC than the previous gen honda city (my bro has previous gen). anyhow, dun worry much about the FC. It wont really disappoint u much. Furthermore, this NHC has being better much especially the handling and stability. Just now at highway speed at 150km/h. It still stable and didnt float like previous gen. I think i can save money on installing the stability bars smile.gif besides, listening to its awesome music system, u will be enjoying ur journey.

well, here's my FC record:
Within 13km/l to 16km/l until now. Just clocked 1250km currently.
I guess will be getting better and better after 5000 km or 10000 km . Enjoy your ride guys. Dun too worry about the FC. I am getting more and more LOVE on this baby. I am sure u guys will too smile.gif

today collected my BBM ....... specially take emergency leave for it.  laugh.gif

check everything during collection except the retractable door mirror .....

when tested at home, not working at all ....... even the remote adjustment ...... darn .... call my SA ...... says maybe the tinting guy didn't connect the wire ......  doh.gif

need to use subsequent amount of energy to slam the trunk than only can close ..... it it normal ?  icon_question.gif

my sister previous generation city ..... no need to slam at all .... just press .....

other than that ..... so far ok ......
*
i also found the trunk is kinda rough work on NHC. not smooth as previous gen. My mum slam 3 times only get to close the trunk and showed a frustrated face when got into my car last weekend when went to buy something laugh.gif

One more funny thing is today my car alarm went on. then my mum asked me why there is weird little sound from the car. "She thought that is the sound from the audio" laugh.gif laugh.gif

NHC alarm = The Sound of "Little" Music laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

*
i drove at kl-putrajaya last weekend 150kmh +- i feel the car quite stable worr, and my steering gets tight too.....

No need, I can tell you.

My old ride's 40k service cost me about RM1.1k but I did my air-cond service at the same time if I remember correctly, that's about RM300+. So the service prices are comparable.
*
thanks for your information. seems like Vios and City service cost are comparable and not that far difference smile.gif
anyway, for the air cond service is it optional? or it is compulsory to service at 40k? let's say how if i seldom on my air cond and my air cond still works very well when 40k?

toyota vios, honda city, peugeot 308, hyundai elantra, kia forte etc etc... there are getting more and more choices rclxms.gif

abangs..help me..anything i can do with the bumper without spraying? may b some paint dips? but PMM colour i think susah for paint dips le..scared later result not nice..and the mud guard need to change liao..coz scratch till like tat..sighs
*
that's consider a light scratch. I think if u have seen mine, u will say gosh.... pity my PMM NHC. by the way, my scratch "born" at the 2nd day after i got my NHC sad.gif

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Mar 29 2009, 03:14 PM)
My FC still pretty bad... 310-330 km only on 32 litre... Never go pass 3k RPM also
*
hmm..bro. ya...u need to change with HM and reset ur ECU. i am a light footer like u as hardly go pass 3k RPM. for 32 litre petrol normally will be getting average >400km.

well, just now went to pump up my petrol, the FC record is
418km = 31.11 litre petrol

so it's about 13.44km/l. 30% highway 70% city.
that's ESSO, now pumping SHELL, let's compare after another pump.
However, my meter showed 14.8km/l. It's about 1.3km/l ++ difference. seems this new 5 AT and I-vtec doesn't really efficient in FC saving but poorer FC instead. Highly due to its heavy weight.

WELL... I'm LOVING my NHC sooo much.. STILL! hehehe

QUOTE(smaran @ Mar 29 2009, 08:32 PM)
i'm planning (confirm) to cancel my booking. will arrive either in late April or early May. Do anyone interested to get this car? btw. its PMM & booking was done at Jln 222. Pls PM me if anyone interested.
Anyway, I haven't inform the SA and not sure whether I can transfer this to another purchaser.
But, we can try.
*
hmm....which car u changing to? mind to share?
hmm.... Peugeot 308? laugh.gif

my FC is 400-450km, shd i reset the ECU when i go for my 1k service?
if balancing run a bit, can i ask them to adjust for me?
anything shd take note when 1k service?
*
well, 400-450km is normal for NHC. dun need to reset the ECU.
for checking alignment, it's not FOC. u have to pay for it. 1k service is really nothing changing except some checking. will be done in 20min to 30min

Yes.. 400 - 450km is perfectly normal.
Even I didnt reach that mark on my first 1k.

True, it is not free for the wheel alignment check. But you can claim warranty on that, and let them to do FOC.
That's what I did anyway..and I didnt have to pay a cent. Hope it works for you.
*
oh really? so will be also no problem if i do the wheel alignment check and claim warranty on that when i go for my 5k service?
how did u request? thanks 1st smile.gif
