QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Feb 18 2009, 07:23 PM) What kind of scratches? Deep scratches or those white colour? If white colour one, just use a wet cloth to wipe. yea im worry about that too. if only there is some sort of protective chemical can be coated on it. QUOTE(sysh @ Feb 18 2009, 07:28 PM) How much does that cost? Think I won't change the rims 'cos I kinda grown to like the E-Spec rims very much Me more into enhancing the car's performance..hehe! hmmm although the tire looks 'thin' still it looks nice when the car is on the move. already saw a feel NCH (mostly black) on the road and it makes my heart itch. congrats on the NCH V3

QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Feb 18 2009, 09:05 PM) Wah, how does that happen? Guess you've to use some sticker to stick on it. i suppose its the norm for new cars these days. even my friend's brand new swift got some fine scratches at the back door hard plastic. as for her front doors both have more leather wrappings than the NCH. how i wish car makers are not being stingy on this. does changing to say, 16in rims and wider tires affect much on the FC? wonder what is the diff in FC for those who use stock and those who dont.

QUOTE(Lowyat @ Feb 18 2009, 09:18 PM) I don't understand why my mother keep on say my previous city is better than my new city???????? Very sad lah.... maybe because your mother judges the car from its looks as in material sense. obviously, previous honda city has better quality built interior than the new one. but dont worry, new city also has its pros where older ppl dont usually find it amusing, they prefer more practicalities. QUOTE(yel @ Feb 18 2009, 09:18 PM) Can you please elaborate why V-Kool is not recommended. Is it because of workmanship or the quality of the tint itself. A good friend of mine is the one who told me to get V-kool because he's been using it for more than 3 years on his Honda Civic and very satisfied with it. My SA is offering the tint to me for RM 1850, expecting to get my car by end of this month. Thanks. for me its overrated n overly expensive. and one of our forumer has very bad real life experience with it, proofed with photos, certified by me in which those photos are not altered by photoshop lol. QUOTE(city_blue @ Feb 21 2009, 12:27 AM) How about if the loan is approved, can we use that loan to other SA? or need to apply again? anything is possible as long you havent sign the final document. because once you signed it, mean you have accepted the car and the payment will go through while that SA will get his/her commission. to earn your money, im sure the dealer/brunch will do anything for you even appoint other SA to you...with your valid reasons of course. good luck This post has been edited by elru: Feb 21 2009, 01:02 AM

just got debated with a friend of mine over the breakfast just now. "most materials used in the new honda city are recyclables, its good for the environment, hence its expensive to produce as claims by honda msia. which is why its price shot up compared to the previous model" my friend's arguments "if its made for recyclable, hows the durability of it in the long run, say 7 - 10 yrs constantly under the hot sun? and isnt it a little expensive for a car which made to be recycled, besides, during the process of building the cars has already ruined the environment" Added on April 11, 2009, 9:24 pmwe have another debates again during dinner just now and the case is finally closed. in the end we both agreed its a good car, and a good looking ones too, performances n equipments offered are considered 'value' among its rivals. rumors said crisis will last around 6 - 8 months, n our eco will be recovering by august. if they were to increase the interest rates right now, that doesnt seems logical to me.
...or unless there is certain someone who is dumping in lots of lots of money into our country which is true?!...rumors only ya.

QUOTE(de.crystal @ Apr 20 2009, 06:19 PM) that new has been comfirmed to be true. Read the link which i provided earlier on. yeap i know. which is why i said it doesnt sounds logical unless the rumors about 'someone' pouring money into malaysia is true. but guess we're never get to find out. QUOTE(de.crystal @ Apr 20 2009, 06:33 PM) I agree with you but this is what is happenning now. btw the true reason of them increasing the rate is that with the low rate interest, they are unable to coup with the costs incurred in loaning the money out. Hence, all banks discussed and came up with this decision. Btw have you got your car booked? Perhaps I could giv you my SA's contact, if you havent, her deal is good, so that u could at least save up abit. mmm thanks for the offer actually i just bought a house d and if they were to increase the rates, i guess my dream of getting a city gonna stall a little longer. . .

QUOTE(Lame @ Apr 20 2009, 06:58 PM) The Star quoted, "However, many are asking why should car loans go up when the base lending rate to which housing loans are tied is on a downtrend. Car loans, however, are fixed rate loans and not tied to the BLR." This really make sense cos market is seeing recovery now.. hence they cant be giving low fixed rate for car.. BLR can be changed towards time and following the current market situation while fixed rate cant.. so they gotta do protection which they predict market is getting better.. which is good.. but have u all actually try to calculate how much is the difference.. shd't be too material.. aight. i dont have strong backing towards my points anyway. thanks for the explaination
