Today went to Senawang Honda Service center to install brake pedal lock. Cost around RM130 for 2 cities. If only 1 city, the price is RM150.
Took around 20-30 mins to install. I don't know what is the techinician doind. He is referring to a piece of paper..

I know RM130 is very expensive but i preferred let Honda technician doing it so it won't void my warranty if anything happen.

But this is a bit different.

Start car, press brake pedal. (door will locked)
then manual unlock the car while driving, then press brake pedal again (door won't lock) so i locked it back.
turn off engine, pull out key (door will unlocked) and restart the car again, press brake, (car locked)

if we want to drop someone off, we will manual unlock the door. passenger drop off, when press brake pedal, door won't lock. therefore i have to manual lock it back. anyone same with me..?

Added on May 2, 2009, 10:23 pmQuestion: Front grill for our honda city(like honda civic) not available yet?
Question: I noted tat my ecotint is still not dark enough. Can i still put 1 more layer?

does anyone here is from kch, sarawak bought/booked the new honda city?

i need to know something regarding the interest rate.

yesterday i went to this honda showroom and survey the cars. after some discussion with the SA, he told me that the interest rate for 9 years is 3.5%.

is this relevent? since i saw some forumers' interest rate is less than 3%.

thank you.

There are quite a number of authorized dealer / installers for the Clifford BlackJax.
Price would be around RM1,000 - RM1,100 (inc. installation) for the Cllifford BlackJax 5.

My SA still gives RM800. Freebies, that one depends on your neg. skills. Maybe can get a free T-Shirt and Umbrella.
Interest rate depends on how much you take. I think 5 yrs is about 3.25% while 7 yrs is 3.40%

Basically this sat is Wesak. So since its on Sat,they wont replace the holiday on Monday.

For the checking part, you should check every single thing

start from inside the car, make sure these are working

signal
wiper
seats can adjust
windows are working
side mirror can retract and can change position
floor mats are there
better to take it for a drive to see whether the paddle shifter are working
Make sure your mileage is less than 30 km
Radio is working
CD player is working
USB port is working
FOr E Spec, make sure rear seat can recline
Test the air conditioning.Put to max speed and see got any sound
Test the gear lever.See can change gear properly
Make sure glove box can open properly
Make sure the lights inside the car can be on
Check steering for defects
Check horn for sound
Make sure steering is aligned straight

FOr exterior,check

scratches
check engine bay .IF something unusual, notify SA
check to see if boot lid can be opened and closed smoothly
make sure the rubber linings are good condition
the door handles are working
check tyres .Make sure new tyres
Make sure there is the emergency kit in the boot
Make sure doors closed with a "thud" sound.
Check foglights
Check
