No, the City does not use DSG. It uses a torque converter for the paddle shifters, hence you get that little lag in between shifts.

Bro,

Did mine @ CV Audio. The Boss, Peter is a cool guy! Installation took about 5 hours or so. almost half a day, but with this type of system, it's best to let them take their time and do it right. Workmanship excellent! Now I can sleep a little bit better. At least I have a deterrent, that's all. Nothing's theft proof, but you got to do what you gotta do to make yourself feel better. hehehe.... blush.gif

Anyways, CV Audio is known for their workmanship and that includes Audio Systems, Security Systems as well. They carry all Clifford products (authorized distributor), Captor and Cobra Connex. There was NEW Camry the same time I installed by Clifford and it was fitted with Cobra Connex. DAMN COOL! 100% recovery record to boast too. If you've cash, get Cobra Connex... drool.gif

Have you done-up your car?

I'm actually sending my car up to Ipoh to get it fixed. Know some people who can do it with good workmanship though.
How much did you pay for yours?

Yo.
Yup. Just got mine done today. Took about 3+ hours though.
I'm using the Clifford BlackJax 4. Not the newest, but I think it's more than sufficient. And most importantly, I'm happy with it nod.gif
Now I think I've covered enough in terms of security for my ride. Time to find some Ooomph for under the hood.

Yeah... at least peace of mind abit... Got the BlackJax 5... more or less the same with 4, not sure what additional features... laugh.gif

Long way to go on my list:

1. Tinted: WinGard... safety+heat resistant (DONE)
2. Additional Security: Clifford BlackJax 5 (DONE)
3. K&N Drop-In Air Filter (next on the list)
4. PPS (maybe this weekend)
5. Sport Rims (17" perhaps, will need to scout around)
6. Upgrade Sound System (in a few months time, hehehee.... rclxub.gif )
7. Mugen or Modulo Bodykit will be last on the list as Mugen hasn't or will not release. Will just wait it out...

Anyways, upgrades anything under the hood is limited. Not much you can do. Oh well, just have to wait and see... brows.gif

Yea. I would like to know what's the difference between the BlackJax 4 and the BlackJax 5. Kinda mafan at times since I've got a brake pedal lock too, but well..for that extra piece of mind.. I'd have to live with it.

How much did you do ur WinGard? Is it the WinGard Royale?
K&N Drop-In hasn't really arrived at our shores now.. so gotta wait for that myself..

Say, why don't you join us during our UOTT tomorrow? Would like to see more NHC owners around smile.gif
