7164 KNM KNM GROUP BHD
the Articles

Clarification to the articles dated 17 March 2009 appearing in :-
a. The Edge Financial Daily and entitled KNMs Lee will consider leading buyout
if banks can raise funds
b. The Star and entitled MBO of KNM hinges on funds
c. The News Straits Times and entitled KNMs Lee may lead buyout if banks can
provide funding
(collectively referred to as the Articles)
In respect of the Articles, which were written based on Bloombergs
report/article appearing on 16 March 2009 and entitled KNMs Lee Will Consider
Leading Buyout If Banks Can Raise Funds, the Company wishes to clarify as
follows:-
When asked by Mr Angus Whitley of Bloomberg as to whether Mr Lee Swee Eng
believes that the shares of KNM are undervalued and whether, as a result, Mr
Lee would consider a Management Buy Out of the Company, Mr Lee responded in the
affirmative but clearly went on to add that funding for such an exercise would
be challenging in this environment and that there is currently no offer from
any party to provide funding for such a transaction.
This announcement is dated 17 March 2009.

Added on March 17, 2009, 5:30 pmKinstel should be a good buy at current price. I think steel counters can shoot up significantly when steel demand move up as they have write off so much inventories. These inventories is only paper write off, so when demand comes, these inventories can be sell at normal price. The only problem is the demand must be strong enough to clear off all the inventories and current supplies...

because the par value for IOICORP is RM0.10 if i'm not mistaken.... the price per unit is more important nod.gif

IOI Par value is Rm0.10. So 30% x 0.10 = 0.03

3 cents per share.

Don't look at headline % alone, if it is really 30% or 30 cents, the stock price fly already, still at 3.xx level meh.
No offence. smile.gif

If the share price of TMI continue to drop to below 2.00, then its right issue subcription rate will be a problem, underwriters might need to 'eat' the remaining unsubcribed right issue. <--- check who is the underwriter, short their stock then can earn big buck (oppss cannot short in KLSE, just joking biggrin.gif ).

Yeah, it won't shoot up anytime soon but will definitely go up once demand picks up......

Since it has already lost 1/3 it's value recently, I thought I just buy in a small amount and can still average down if it falls further.

Itchy hands la..... no cure.... biggrin.gif (Hand cut by falling knife also still itchy..... sweat.gif)
