I bought LIONIND at 0.665 just before CNY. Want to unload it yesterday if it rallied further but it went south!

I'm glad I unload my SIME.... made 15% profit....

Hey guys.... my machine gun bullets just came today.

However, with uncertainty in the market, I just can't decide what long-term blue chip stocks to go for......

I know nobody knows for certain what will happen in the future but if there is one or two stocks you guys would pick for long-term investment (in terms of potential capital appreciation or dividend yield), which one would you go for?

And yeah, I know, judge my own.....

I'd probably buy BJTOTO if it falls to RM4.... or IOICORP if it falls to RM3.....

Just that at current price (@ stock market level)... dunno wat to buy.....

UCHITEC was also recommended by BNPP in December, as the no. 1 in their top dividend yielders' list. They quote a possible DY of 16.5% for FY09.

Actually wanted to buy some more but decided to wait. Aiseh! Last time, I jumped into any boat that comes along. Now that I'm more patient, I keep on missing some boats!

Yeah, we're in the same boat. However, if you look at their report, it not that bad right? I don't really know how to interprete the whole report but it seems that they still have yet to collect payments from their "customers".

Any expert can summarize their 08 report?

Just bought some UCHITEC again, for DCA and dividend play. Queuing for RESORT too. TMI also looks tempting!

Better save some bullets because it looks like it will probably get worse.... probably after the stimulus package.....

Looks like our GDP will be coming out today. Let's see......

I bought UCHITEC today. Didn't manage to get RESORTS.

Didn't dare to sapu any other stocks either as I think they will be heading further south...... just have to scratch my itchy fingers very hard!!!

From time to time, I have to remind myself to look at the broader picture..... that I have managed to buy shares at a relatively cheaper price.

As long as the company don't go bust, the shares we hold still has value and will go up eventually.

Just that for some counters, I have become its long long term investor!

I think we better keep some bullets - Malaysian GDP at 0.1% in Q4 '08...... recession looms.....
