why manutd 09/10 48$ only???

I think I already mentioned it.. I used a link that enables 10% discount.

Something similar like if you have ONE UNITED membership discount at store.manutd.com

Sigh.. Brought my jersey to a shop at BB plaza to put on the embroidery final wordings.. But as shown from the photo, the guy put the box around the wordings, I blame my self because I showed him the picture from EBAY and did not realize the box.. lol..

Haih....

Why la you guys do it the hard way... doh.gif

Why not find the fonts used to create that embroidery.. that will be easier and more precise right?

Take a look at this:

user posted image

Similar right?

But be carefull with the 'st' and 'th' in the 21st and 27th.. the actual one has a lower position (superscript) with the one in Microsoft Word by default will sit on the top (subscript). I tried using the subscript positioning in the format-font option in word but it didn't place it properly.

The font used for the FINAL MOSCOW 2008 is called 'trebuchet' and I think is already available by default in Microsoft Word.

Now for the font used for the FINAL ROMA 2009, the font is called 'augustus'.

So why not download the fonts and then use it to do the embroidery lah..

You can either bring it to the embroidery shop.. or just print out the wordings and then ask the embroidery shop to scan..

To download the font augustus.ttf: http://font-styles.com/cool-fonts-397.html

If you need to download the font trebuchet.ttf: http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free-fonts...buchet%20MS.ttf

Jerseyman was planning all along to DIY this.. but I was stuck with loads of work and the need to find an empty jersey to do it.. well.. maybe you guys can try first and please share the results with us later.

And finally to akkmutd0711, the fonts for the carling cup and CWC is just simply plain arial font..

Quick question guys - UMBRO's England new jersey - size wise apa macam?
I usually wear size M on Nike jersey which is 39/41 chest size, but UMBRO's size M equals 40 (new ordering size). So should I go for 40 (size M) or 42 (size L)?

You wear M right? M falls under 38-40 inches

Why must you go for 42.. 42 is for large.

My advice, go and test wear it at al-ikhsan or real one. Test wearing 38 or 40.

Because the final price listed in the basket will be minus the VAT tax. I believe you're using firefox right? Firefox browsers will list the price inclusive of VAT tax in the manutd or kitbag main page.

I don't get the jersey with name+number+badges because the nameset will be replica size (smaller) and PU type (plastic) unlike the ones sold locally

Yup... if you want to buy any jersey from United Direct or Kitbag, don't have it printed with EPL nameset. If UCL nameset.. ok because it is PU (plastic).

Better get it done locally at either al-ikhsan or real one... both shops offer good services.

I recommend both.

To answer ur question, If u feel u fit between M and S (means normal Nike M is a bit baggy) then get 38. IF u feel u fit between M and L (means normal Nike M is on the tight side), then go for 40. In my case, Nike M is always a bit larger ( Nike PI kits size M will fit me better) and i fit perfectly in England M size.

Past few weeks i received the final embroidery shirt from Subside but apparently the wordings are not center between the Nike Swoosh and Man Utd's crest. So i had it returned as instructed by the customer service. After all, they provide good after sales attitude and promised customer satisfactory.

That's the case for ALL of Subside's embroidery. After opinions and advice from members, i have decided to keep mine.

If u want centre, u have to get it from Kitbag or Megastore.

thanks guys. i've decided to get M or 40 was a little bit indecisive earlier since it's tailored fit to the waist - worried it might be a bit tight at the waist
i'll see when it arrives
