This thread is opened for discussion on:

1. Football replica or player issue jerseys/shorts/socks
2. Football training jerseys/shorts/socks
3. Namesets (NNs) and patches

The discussions here are generic but related to the items above, such as where to find a certain jersey or nameset, asking questions on patches etc...

Anyone can share their latest jerseys they bought since this is a thread about jerseys.

RULES AND REGULATIONS (R&R)

Make sure that none of the things below are mentioned:

1. Talking/discussing about fake jerseys/patches/gear
2. Flaming and causing stir/arguing with another LYN member
3. Any racial abuse or football clubs sentiment
4. Anything that is against the general rules of this forum.

If anyone breaks the rule, they will be reported to the moderators and admins.

As discussed with the previous thread starter, I decided to volunteer and open the thread again (thanks MobyDick).

For newbies, any questions please refer to page 1 first. I will post some guides in the first page for references because sometimes the same question is asked over and over again..

EXTRA ATTENTION TO MEMBERS OF LYN FORUM AND REGULARS TO THIS THREAD!

Most of the regulars know who are the previous troublemakers who like to cause stir in this thread. They will either:

1. Insult people's collection
2. Brag about themselves
3. Insult other people's knowledge on jerseys
4. Flame other people
5. All the above.

IF YOU FIND THEM POSTING IN THIS THREAD ... please report to the moderators and IGNORE THEM ... because their postings are worthless and most of them are more into seeking attention only..

If you post in the forum, then you agree with the rules stated above.

Thank you!

WHERE TO BUY NAME/NUMBER SET (NNs) AND PATCHES

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE LETTERS/NUMBERS & PATCHES FOR THE TOP 4 EPL TEAMS

user posted image

Letters/Numbers are in black or white colours. Navy & Red NNs depend on stock availability and are ordered and sold as sets (not individually like black and white).
Locally each EPL letter costs RM6 per letter and RM35 per number. So if you want to buy ROONEY 10, it will cost:

(6 letters X RM6) + (2 numbers X RM35) = RM36 + RM70 = RM106

A pair of EPL patches (normal or champions patches) costs RM49 per pair (2 pieces for both sleeves).
You can purchase the EPL NNs and Patches (normal and champions) at:

1. Local Stores: Al-Ikhsan, Real One and Q-Line
2. Online:

RECOMMENDED FOREIGN ONLINE SPORTS SHOPS FOR PURCHASING AUTHENTIC JERSEYS/NNs/BADGES

Here is the list of names/address/contact information of local sports shops that have a previous and currently proven record of selling authentic items (jerseys, namesets and badges). As you all know, one of the rules and principles of all JCs (Jersey Collectors) are to say no to fake jerseys, NNs and badges.

We had a case with one of our previously recommended and endorsed shop somewhere in KL who we previously trusted and recommended to our friends and other fellow JCs. But in early 2008, 2 of their employees broke our trust and started to sell fake namesets and badges. Our mistake was not to spread this news because we though it was a one off case and we had good faith on that shop. But sadly it became worst because many people fell victims to these 2 unethical sellers who preyed on naive and innocent buyers who wanted to buy original items and paid the items with prices that matches authentic items. Is it unethical but at the end they got away with it because we didn't have any proof against them. It is funny to see how they pretend they didn't know about it and were plain cowards for not admitting it or still claiming that it's authentic. And at the end, the tauke himself said to one of our mates in the JC group to trust him more than us. That really upset us because we were wasting time giving them chance to sort out things, trusting and endorsing them, and at the end.. after trying to gain back our trust and believe on them.. we were scolded back as if we were the one starting the fuss. Takkan pokok bergoyang kalau tiada angin bertiup.. right?

So what we can do now is.. for the sake and safety of other JCs, newbies and friends out there is to list down the local and foreign sports shops that are guaranteed to sell authentic items and are personally endorsed by us. We might not have 10 years experience of selling items (quoted by someone who claims that players actually wear jersey with PU typed NNs during matches because they are light.. WTF..?) but we know our stuff. And I have black and white proof to back that up.

Anyway if you want to visit the recommended shops that we endorse, here they are:

jerseyman, can u please check out in the previous post whether the ronaldo final moscow jersey is fake?
*
Sorry mate, I missed out on your posting.

Unfortunately it is fake.. It should be Made in Morocco and I can see the NikeFIT and club crest embroidery is poor.

You can try to nego with the seller and ask for a refund. If the seller insist it is still original, inform us here and I can share photos from my own personal original jersey and you can show to the face of the seller and he can see for himself the comparisons.

Ebay will not easily refund you if it is a dispute due to originality. I've been through it once and I can tell you.. it is not easy. Better return back the item and ask for refund.

Hi i wanna know how to differentiate Ori England Umbro jersey with fake ones. I'm getting a England - Away 02/04 used.
*
For security reasons.. I don't simply share tips easily on how to differentiate fakes...

What you can do is if you want to buy one.. take photos of the jersey (as the seller to do it) and share the photos with us or myself. Then we can tell if it's ori or not.

Sharing photo differences is ok.. But we cannot simply tell how to tell a jersey is fake or not.

I went to q-line last tuesday, the patches are sold out if I'm not mistaken. Give them a call first to check stock availability (03-2692 3727)

I know him and I believe personally that he can be trusted.

I don't know him personally and haven't met him in real life (well.. was planning to meet him but unfortunately cancelled my trip to singapore) but I know him well from the my-fjc forum. I think you can trust him since he has been very helpful to us..

As answered via pm, RM79 per patch. Dunno if still got stock or not. You can try calling them or Real One Store (check the first page for the contact number) and reserve one piece.

You can ask anyone to apply them, it's straight forward and easy to align and apply.

Look at the comparisons between the price tag and the small tag behind the washing tag:

user posted image user posted image

They both tally right? Style code (287535), colour code (614) and the barcode serial number (886691694298) both match.

That is enough already to tell that the jersey is authentic.

Then don't be at home when the parcel arrives.. or call UPS and arrange for a self pickup.. you have to call United Direct directly to get the tracking code number 1st...

This look authentic and official but why made in Sri Lanka?
[attachmentid=809952][attachmentid=809956][attachmentid=809957][attachmentid=809959][attachmentid=809961][attachmentid=809962][attachmentid=809965][attachmentid=809967][attachmentid=809953][attachmentid=809972]

Regarding it's authenticity?

First time I've seen this bro..

Hahaha.. where did you get it? From kitbag/united direct or ebay?

From the looks of it, this jersey was meant for European Market..

And Nike Sri Lanka does make jerseys.. They make Juventus's home kit and Inter Milan's home kit for the current season.

Don't worry about the authenticity.. it is 100% authentic. See for yourself, the barcode sticker and the small white tag all tallies..

probably a second batch of production? coz kitbag seems like running low on stock, even the LS also sold out, then now they restock again..

Won't suprise me mate.. I could agree anymore.. Man United's home jersey is one of the most highly demanded jersey in the market..
