can anyone tell me what different between Airmail, UPS and EMS in term of price, how much time to reach Malaysia from Europe

Airmail can be tracked actually. Using e-parcel if im not wrong. http://www.pos.com.my/V1/main2.asp?c=/v1/T...e/MainTrack.htm

You can get it at q-line store at Pertama Kompleks because they are the official supplier of nike NNs for the Malaysia national squad. And they are only PU, no lextra materials.

Ask the seller to use registered mail from the portugese mail.

If it's too long, you can raise a dispute at the resolution center (item did not arrive).

EMS = delivered by parcelforce (http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/home), a courier and logistics service in the United Kingdom. Parcelforce Worldwide is a trading name of Royal Mail Group Ltd.

In terms of price, of course airmail is the cheapest.. around GBP3-4.. UPS is damn expensive... EMS.. I've never used before.

Royal Mail International Signed For - GBP7-8

My advice.. always ask the seller to use Royal Mail International Signed For or Registered Mail services from Pos services from any other country.. I will tell you why later.

Nope.. normal airmail cannot be tracked.. that's why there is something called Royal Mail International Signed For. Which is registered mail (pos daftar). Besides than forcing the postman to request signature from recipient (makes it more safer than normal airmail) it also has a tracking code system that ties to our Pos Malaysia's tracking code.

Please insist the ebay seller to use international signed for and never use normal airmail or Airsure. I'll tell you why later..

OK guys....

Read this story below to understand why I always advice you guys to INSIST THE EBAY OR ONLINE SELLER TO USE ROYAL MAIL INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR or REGISTERED MAIL

Don't use Normal Airmail or something called Airsure from Royal Mail.

A few days ago I've had two parcels from UK.. One is sent using Airsure (I've already told the seller insist using ISF, but he asked advice from Royal Mail and they encourage Airsure because it is faster.. but the truth is, it is still slow and took the same days just like ISF) and another using ISF.

The parcel sent using ISF didn't arrive even after 2 weeks of waiting... the one sent using airsure was suppose to arrive early this week... but today is already Thursday..

Later I managed to obtain the tracking code for both airsure and ISF from the respective ebay sellers.

So for the one sent using airsure, I checked that it has already arrived at KLIA last friday:

user posted image

So I waited and waited and waited... but nothing arrived...

Even the one sent using ISF has been 2 weeks plus.....

I called Pos Malaysia (1 300 300 300) and spoke to the operator. I gave her the 2 tracking codes (one from ISF and one from Airsure).

She said the one sent using Airsure was already delivered to the Post Office in my hometown last Monday (22nd June 2009).

And the good thing is, she too was able to give me the tracking code used by Pos Malaysia to link with the tracking code used for Royal Mail ISF... (see.. I told you already).. So used the tracking code (given from Pos Malaysia) and checked at Pos Malaysia's webite.. I found out that the item was undelivered:

user posted image

Undelivered means that the item is still at the post office, still undelivered because no recipient was at home... So the postman went to my house on the 12th June and no one was at home to greet him. So later he went back to the main post office and left it for collection. Funnily there was no pink card or paper informing me that the postman came to my house on the 12th June...

And if you use Royal Mail International Signed For... again I told you last time.. that there will be 2 tracking codes... one is from Royal Mail.. once the parcel arrives to Malaysia, Pos Malaysia will add it's own tracking code that ties to the one given and used by Royal Mail UK:

user posted image
The packet that arrived more than 1 week ago and was sent using ISF.. was still around at the main post office

user posted image
You can see for yourself that there are 2 tracking codes and they can be used together to track the parcel

So I rushed to the main office... and manage to find the one sent using ISF at the post office (even though it was bought more than 2 weeks..)

The one sent using Airsure was treated as Pos Express.. not signature is required... and later the officers couldn't find the parcel and also contact the postman responsible for posting the item on 22nd June 2009. I'm still waiting for their call....

Damn..... I suspect 3 scenarios now:

1. The postman left the package into my house's mailbox and someone stole it
2. The postman was dishonest and took the package away
3. The package is still somewhere around the big warehouse at the main post office.

So....... no use if you can track the Airsure package but later the package is delivered without needing someone to sign and proof that it was genuinely delivered. Because ISF can also be tracked! So what makes Airsure better than ISF? It's not faster than ISF as claimed.. heck.. it's more less safer!

Now.. because of safety reasons (where signature is required) I strongly encourage you guys to ensure the ebay seller to INSIST using Royal Mail ISF.

Thank god that the one sent using ISF arrived safely because it was a BNWT France 98 Home XXL 1 Star Reproduction jersey:

Airsure is not faster and not safer than ISF. ISF can be tracked just like Airsure.

Royal Mail ISF is far more better than Airsure. Period. I'm pissed now because the missing Airsure package is a damn retro hard to find England third navy jersey.

I'm going to ask the seller who sent using Airsure to refund me back.

Conclusion:

Royal Mail Airmail - No tracking system. No request recipients signature upon delivery.
Royal Mail Airsure - Got tracking system. No request recipients signature upon delivery.
Royal Mail International Signed For - Got tracking system. Requires recipients signature upon delivery.

After referring to Jerseyman's posting, I have questions: I have a package from US sent using USPS Priority Mail International. It has been more than 3 weeks now, any idea how to proceed from here? I want to give it a try before requesting the seller for refund.

Appreciate your opinion soon, thanks and cheers.

Based on my experience with usps before, it will usually arrive in about a month. If you are worried just ask the seller for the tracking number.

You can call pos malaysia (1 300 300 300), talk to the operator and provide the tracking code. If the item has arrived then you can track it's movement. You can even tell or check when it is suppose to arrive the pos malaysia's main office or district office.

From my experience even using royal mail signed-for also not 100% secure if you get dishonest postman. Depends on your luck sometimes.

The select Express Delivery la.. that will be UPS.. UPS is similar like registered mail, the UPS guy will need the recipient's signature. If no one is at home, they will contact you and then you can liaise with them to either re-send it to a different date or different place or you can schedule a personal pickup.
Yes, USD is now cheaper.. I'm also buying using USD in fact hehe..

Is this jersey bigger than the red home jersey of the same size?
user posted image

I find the home jersey a little tighter compared to the current third kit, that's why I'm asking.

it is much better and safer if you can borrow a real Moscow or Carling Cup Final kit to them, so that they can follow the font, size and colors properly..
especially the font color...
