re Redscorpian, doubt many will have time to take note of those...further prices can be inflated let at ebay etc....someone can post a listing and sell it at sky rocket price.... it will be different if someone actually bought at those prices then worth discussing tongue.gif

and of course match worn shirts are way more expensive...way out of our league sometimes..so maybe may not catchour attention...

Anyway for your reference see the last few paras on the world record for jerseys:-

re nicodemus, as stated earlier, its best for forummers to post pics of items they are seeking here for discussion instead of asking for others to provide details etc. Hope u understand, we just dont want to send the info out and let it be misuse. Already there are ebay sellers using pictures posted on forums like this on their ebay listing. This is passing off if u ask me.

Anyway share ur pics / details of the kit u wan to veify and the taikors here can help u check. Also it encourages discussion among others as well so all can leanr loh smile.gif

re redscorpion, maybe that can be our ultimate dream - to one day break the record hehe...tongue.gif

Since Pele's is GBP156k, I would rate diego's shirt at the 86 semi final v England (match worn of course) at twice:P

haha not starting flaming war, just my personal view...if i ahve the cash i really would not mind paying that figure...that is THE prized kit for me smile.gif

re MrRighthand, your statement is not accurate la haha. There is definitely size S produced. Whether it is stocked in Malaysia is another issue.

The two main branches u should try is ALI at BB or RealOne. If the say no stock, then u have to try online lo. Why buy other size? U can get kits cheaper online with the declining GBP.

re keanzteoh, u have to email them for availability and price. then after confirmation, payment is by paypal. they will send by EMS.

re air_mood, classicfootballshirts is one of the more reputable sites around, Not cheap though. YUou need to email them for confirmation if they send shirts to Malaysia and how much. Last i checked i think it was GBP10 - 12 for 2 shirts IIANM.

Akane, that is the site mentioned by all. use gogle translator etc to view.

be very careful with ur descruiptions to the seller when emailing him for info. he is known to get mixed up with orders etc (eg home set instead of away set, 0607 instead 0809 etc). Oh yes, u need to email him for latest price and shipping cahrges.

Sly, what stuff u guys buying this time?tongue.gif

re MyDevil, trust us when we say the repro quality is not really good sad.gif Agree with Faiz, best to source for the original kit in Ebay.

re AW13, dont you think the NNs for the Engalnd kit is small? hmm

re Everdying, by then numbers may be "hot" and tough to get:P

Anyway it is normal for Engalnd players to wear different numbers, as it is customary for them to field players wearing numbers 1 - 11 throughout for starting 11. So if your reserves start the gfame, say in a friendly, they will wear those numbers and the "regulars" who may come in at a later stage may wear other numbers from 12 - 23.

But ya, if you are gonna add patches etc to the shirt, its prudent to read on the history of the matches and apply them accrodingly. To be more meticulous, should also see if the player wore a long or short sleeved shirt etc. Just some tips to make collecting more fun smile.gif

redscorpion, sadly no real easy way la. Most of us are using this thing called "Staindevil" to peel, but it still leaves glue residue, and its not easy even with the use of the liquid.

Would recommend to put replacement patch on top of the spot to cover up.

MU's sponsor for the new season is definitely still AIG , whose contract expires end of next season. and not Saudi Telekom. Whether the V neck kit as leaked is the real deal is still anybody's guiess.

re benblitz, as Faiz puts it, its really down to your preference. Also as pointed out by Faiz, it is not "wrong" to put Rooney 9 or 10 assuming througout the lifespan of the jersey (09-10) he wore both those numbers (or even other numbers) albeit in different occassions. There is NO WAY one can tell who is going to wear what number in the WC2010 at this stage, not even Capello.

We all understand the adrenaline rush when kits of teams we support are out. So if you want your kit to be the same as that worn in the WC next year (and if u intend to put the WC patch there next year), then you have to either wait till after confirmation of the team sheet next year to get your kits. Or get an empty kit now and wait for next year to buy the NNs.

Anyway i think at this stage you don have a choice for the NNs, cos it comes in set (ie Rooney 10 only) IIANM.

Hi,

Just want to ask where i can buy Corinthian (Home or Away) jersey here in Malaysia? Original one of course. My friend said in Singapore got but he didn't know where's the shop is...anyone can help me?
*
Dont thnk any shops brought in any as far as i am aware. U can try the bundle shops, could bump into some old ones(early 90s ones) like the one below which i got from LYN member thekopz:-

I recall he has another for sale few months back, also old kit, not sure if he still ahs it. u can PM him.

but new ones i don think there is any. Heck, even more famous South Anmerican teams like Boca / River also tak ada / rare. Im assuming u r getting one for Ronaldo?tongue.gif

Singapore stores, the few reputable ones are Weston, Premier, La Vanita etc (see first page) you can try calling them.

Welcome Alex. For local kits the best place is at Pertama Complex. Look for Q-Line.

Dont expect to find old jerseys though, they are mostly current (not all teams too) except for a few crumpled old kits hanging there.

try the aku-altra website, they sell current local kits too.

since we are on this issue, i repaste my previous post:

"I checked the website and seems like there is no amendment to the orders

Butiran 109, Schedule A of the Sales Tax (Exemption) Oder 1980

See Page 13 of the below site and look for no "109"
http://tariff.customs.gov.my/DEFAULT.ASPX?trncode=CO06S1000

AND

Butiran 172 of the Schedule to the Customs Duties Exemption Order 1988

see page 18 of the below link and look for "172"
http://tariff.customs.gov.my/DEFAULT.ASPX?trncode=KO22S1000 "

On the weight (1kg) it is just a precautionary limit based on experience.
