Question:
For the current MU home jerseys, where should it be made to be considered authentic? |

QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Apr 8 2009, 01:58 AM) depends on location. Nike shirts can be made in Morocco, Indonesia, Tunisia or Sri Lanka. For MU shirts, most commonly Morocco, but some Sri Lanka ones are spotted around. Where it is made from is no sign of authenticity actually... But it is a good start right? How do we inspect further? |

One of the sellers in ebay said that the shops in England are selling made in Portugal Man Utd home jerseys. Anyone can confirm this?

QUOTE(subpar @ Apr 9 2009, 03:18 PM) Like they said above, not all United shirts are made in Portugal. To be sure, why don't you let us know which shirt it is you're talking about in particular, then if we have the shirt, we'll check it and get back to you with the 'Made in _____'. I've mentioned it before, the current home jersey. I'm still waiting for the jersey to arrive though and will upload the pictures if needed.Just to make things clear, it's not where a shirt is made in that you should look at, if you're looking at authenticity. It's the black Nike tag near the washing label, and there are some other ways to tell its authenticity as well. The 'Made In ___' chop is just a label stick-on; any half-brain pirate could copy that. |

I just bought a new jersey with lextra NN, am soaking them right now. So the idea is to handwash them and put them in the spinner to dry, and hang them indoors right?

QUOTE(subpar @ Apr 30 2009, 06:41 PM) Are you saying that you just applied the NN on the jersey? I hope you haven't just applied it, cos you're not supposed to wash the jersey for at least 3 days after the application. Nah, applied it last Sat. It's ok to use washing machine for spinning?Plus I don't think you need to soak your jerseys, just rinse them through. |

I just ironed my lextra NN, and it looks like it's growing "little pimples" throughout one side of the numbering (i've followed jerseyman's method). is it ok like that?
side note, actually which kind of NN is better? lextra or PU? |

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ May 1 2009, 09:29 AM) There are not many left sold at Q-Line or Al-Ikhsan. Most are out of stock. I've asked Al-Ikhsan before whether there's previous seasons NNs and whether i can order from them. I got a straight NO from them, such a turn-off.Try looking at ebay or ebay seller soccerauthentics.. |

QUOTE(giotto @ May 1 2009, 10:57 AM) Actually they still have some old stock of certain alphabets and numbers. I remember when i was still searching for a few old alphabets, they took out a box filled with old NN's and i bought a few from them. Which guy told you off? I got a few story to share about the Al Ikhsan staff attitude. I don't know what's their name but it was the slightly bald medium-sized dude, works in the counter. I asked in front of him summore, not on the phone. Chances are I won't be going to ask them anymore, unless I'm there to apply new NNs.Added on May 1, 2009, 12:36 pmQuestion: Are the EPL NNs the same from 1997-2006? I;m looking at one 96/98 United home jersey but it's in size Y, measuring 21" armpit to armpit. Will it be able to fit me? I'm actually an M and for that season, M is measured 22". Any M-sized wearing Y size here?

Is there a way to remove PU NNs? I'm planning to replace them with a new and same NN.
