better in terms of recognization after the course, is it important to study degree to get more knowledge?
pls im not from wealthy family..like u mayb? if im rich enough i dont even bother to noe bout local uni, somemore im a nonbumi. so..cheapskate why bother studying..when i got not enough money to pay the fees u financially can support me is it?
n lastly i never wanted to compare the price. see my previous replied properly..i asked which uni better n how much is degree separetely

let me give u hint,get your question right,so he will reply accordingly .hes a good person with lot of experience..if u read few page back,he himself admit this thread is to help each other.but pls do your homework before asking blindly. 

p/s:if u want to be treat like uni student,im sorry to say,your working life in this industry is gonna be paininthearse man.

i tot to be aircraft maintenance engineer u need license? not degree? why bother to study so much while the career requires experience more

Dude, don't tell me you're interested in this field because you don't want to study so much? That's just not the way it is. There is no easy way in life.
He'd answer you in sarcastic way because you seem to lack of reading about this issue. Spoon fed. Anyway, as MIAT student i would recommend you if you really want to get license, stay away from miat and nuc. This path is tough and being in miat makes it tougher, at least for now

MIAT only for those who dun have money to enter APR or other similar institute..

Well, at least in MIAT you are backed by MARA (for bumi status).. after graduated, got ur diploma/degree, can find work somewhere else.. many go for oil and gas, automotive..

not to say dun wan study much....is just....u need more experience on site then having knowledge but dunno how to use a jack

as far as i know.. mara only give out loans to bumi.. malay/sabah/sarawak/orang asli etc..
on the birth cert of your parents, one of them must be bumi then only u eligible..

maybe jazzy meant non-bumi can enter miat.. (got quota for non-bumi and foreigners)

Hi everyone, im 18 years old which is a SPM leaver, these days I was so lost just to find the right courses to study. But then I saw the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course offered by Nilai, and Im not sure whether to take it or not, because Im a female.
Guys, is female suitable in this field? And what about the job opportunity for a Nilai graduate in Malaysia?

Of course I am right lah! I do part time instructing at MIAT.

Why don't you call and ask them (APR) directly? APR is not officially represented here. They also have a Facebook page where you can make enquiries. Is that a difficult thing to do?

yes, every semester, ojt in mas is on top of the list.. if student pick mas, can say 99.9% sure can get place..
other than mas, need to check again with the company whether they want to take in students for ojt or not..
if they reject or not gonna bring in, then 'automatically' that student usually do his ojt at mas..

bear in mind, mas dont give allowance.. unlike airod, police airwing, and other company..

then wad the diff between APR TAME program and MIAT aircraft maintenance diploma/degree ?  both got OJT arranged

OJT or not. MIAT does not have ATO status yet. Hence, as MIAT's graduate, you need to have 5 years of experience in the field when you submit for your license application. As compared to APR grad, they only need 2 as they've got ATO status now.
