it can on and you can play though? just cant shut down properly?

tripped over power cord? how ah.... last time that happened to me i was playing FF VII fighting sephiroth in his final form. my friend walked by the ps. touched the wire, stupid ol two pin plug came out. to this day im still traumatised. all wire must hide.

i think what you should do is probably do a soft reset of the system. not sure how to do it. something to do with holding the on button down for certain amount of time. it might be on the front page. but all your game data habis lah. everything gone. choose wisely.

Update your firmware to 2.7 first before installing a new HDD.

Does anyone here know how to record videos off a PS3 without sticking a video camera at the TV? Some places say use USB capture card and some say use DVD recorder? Is it true? No need HD video also can, as long as can record. Thanks in advance

Not sure if this is correct, but isn't soft reset hold down power and eject button?

Hi I just purchased a PS3 80gb from SONY Style... paid the 12 mth installment 0% interest free with DS3 bundle... no additional charge unlink Sony Center that need to add in 3% more... thank to the guys here on the pricing guide.

I have problem setting the connection on PS3 though... have 2 questions

1) How u guys know which NAT you are connected to?

2) do you guys have connection problem when u enable WEP encryption? Its strange, PS3 doesn't seem able to get the auto IP if I enable WEP, even if I set a static IP it will prompt me that DNS server problem. So I have no choice but to disable WEP then only it can work.

Appreciate if you could shed some light into this. Thank you smile.gif
