Got my ps3 few days back...am now trying to download demos and planning to get street fighter remix, however the download is really really sadly slow...is there any alternative to this?

Got question; if I download a game as a SG-PSN iD, then if play online I only can play in asia region?

Another question; downloaded tversity but sometimes when streaming vids from my pc, it gets disconneted, then I look at my pc the tvserity server says it encounter a fatal error, then I need to start again the app....does it happen to you guys too?

3rd question; I tried to do the proxy method, but I've tried up to the configuration part....after that I'm lost ledi dun really understand...coz there's like links n' such so where I shuld put em?

Ok nvm anyways 'bout the proxy thingy, let me get this straight;

After when my pc links with my ps3, whenever I wanna download something from ps3 via the store; I need to check my pc for the logs and copy the url package then I put the url onto the left field and the right field will actually ask me for the .pkg file.

So now the thing is I need to download the app/game/demo via the url then when I got the file in .pkg format I point it on the right field of the proxy.

Correct?

Then I go back to my ps3 and run?

Urmm...using the proxy now....downloaded like 1GB of demo from my pc and now from my ps3 I click resume-all,

It seems to me its gone slightly faster a lil' bit but didn't quite what I expected....I expect when I click resume-all it straight away copies the content like copying a file from a pc to another....

But instead its still kinda slow like going 1% to 2% in like 10 secs....

Is it normal?

Yep its wifi...its working better now....after my first demo the 2nd demo is faster compare to the first....goes like 1MB per sec....I wonder why...

Arr lets say I don't want my PSN id to be assosiated with my mail account...how am I suppose to do that?

As far as I know One PSN ID is tied to 1 mail account.

Hrmm crap...my less than a year old ps3 seems to be acting weird...

When I load my SFIV inside ...it didn't autorun...okay nvm although its weird...

2nd time (few hrs later) when I pop it in...it works again (autorun) but this time the loading screen take ages....whole screen goes blank...so I took out the cd and I restarted it...

My concern is this....it hangs!!...out of my PS1, PS2, it never hangs before....so I was wondering is it normal that it freezes/hangs occasionally?

Yeah it works already...like as if nothing happened...but weird is that it hangs during loading the cd...hrmm I abit takut now....

Aiyo sad case....yesterday night play demo game when quit that time it crashes....I wanna ask is it normal it crashes once in a while?

Guys, was wondering whether does your ps3 is hooked to the internet 24/7? or do you plug it on only when you guys want to online?

The reason being said is because I notice whenever my newly bought games wanted to do a patch update, the screen just goes blank and I need to restart my ps3.

Do you guys leave ur ps3 connected to the internet always?

Those guys are amazing, very precise and knowledgable compare to some tech supports I've been through.

I suggest if you guys have a problem you can call them directly.

My issue was having some problem with bd games; intermitten crash during loading.

Hrmm just purchase a new 250gb hdd....now the thing is it doesn't auto-format for me. It says I need the ver 2.7 or something to do so...has it happen to you guys?

Wauu backing up and restoring 23gb of data from old hdd to new hdd takes like almost 30-40mins....So slowwwww
