Hi Aavatar/ or anybody else who has this problem.

It looks like you're really versed with the diamond and I need some huge guidance from you. My HTC has some touch screen problems. When I touch a certain spot, it actually identifies it to a different button, example, when i press 6, it goes to 1 on the dialing keypad. I tried hard reseting the phone and now I can't get anywhere because I can't calibrate the screen.

Would really appreciate your reply.

Question here, why cant you calibrate the screen?

You can try recalibrate it here [Start --> Settings --> Screen --> Align Screen] to see whether it helps or not.

Yea, but the calibration never ends..u c, right now, after I have done the hard reset, i need to calibrate my screen to proceed further and since my screen is screwed(Pardon my French), I am not able to get passed that. So basically I'm stuck with a phone that can't work for now.

If can't calibrate I think your Touch Screen of your screen already burse and what is my advise is send it for repair, for my experience on this was my O2 Mini, the same problem can't calibrate after hard reset the five point screen calibration keep on looping, when I send for repair they said the screen calibration air pocket has burse and have to replace the whole screen.

If its the LCD, and the unit is out of warranty, i think the best choice would be to get a second handed TD instead Pretty sure the price of fixing a new LCD is going to cost even more

Know anywhere i can get a new Diamond 1 ?

tried PDA Experts? not sure wether TD1 is EOL product anot since its been out for 1-2years.

Last option, try flashing it if HR don't work.

Been using 1.13.xx.xx Radio so far and had been stable.

I play avi format file in window media player fail for me, any application can play avir or mp4 format?

if you needed Full QWERTY hardware keyboard then it will be touch pro 2(but a bit bulky), if you do not need the hardware keyboard touch diamond 2 more slim and for functionality, basically both device are the same.

not the same actually.
If u looked carefully, TP2 has more speakers,it's way louder and nice if u r on video call/handsfree mode.
All in all, TP2 is too bulky and not to my liking.

i flash my diamond to android.
apart from camera, bluetooth and gps not working.
everythings fine. yes, android market working!
battery drain very fast play around less than 1 hour, warning notification pop out. my digi 3g/edgs connection always disconected.
my phone get hot fast, sometime dont feel like holding it.
afterall it still need alot improment biut i believe if this work, it will totaly replace wm on diamond and bring to life!
