hard reset means reset to current rom original setting that u already flash.
u are now on wm6.5, after hard reset u will still remain current rom.

to do a hard reset, press and hold volume down + navigation center button and press and hold reset button untill ur scree come out the green red things.

You can. If you have HardSPL before, just follow the steps you did when you flash to WM6.5 (I assume you did it on your own). This time, replace the image of the WM6.5 with image of the WM6.1 of your choice.

No. If you have already done HardSPL, then you can skip that part. What you need to do now is to find a suitable WM6.1 image for yourself, save it into the internal memory, and use MTTY to flash the phone into another ROM (which is the rom saved in the internal memory).

To make it more clear:
HSPL is only needed once for a device. After that u can flash to any rom u want. The HSPL is only to sort of doing "software unlock" as HTC themselves has "locked" the configuration and doesn't want end user to cook rom.

If u did SSPL instead of HSPL, u'll have to do the SPL thg again.

that's the difference. Correct me if i'm incorrect tongue.gif

Yes indeed. If you have done HardSPL prior to this, you do not need to do it again. You only need to do it once and from there, you can flash to any Custom ROM available. Getting bored with GenY D2X tongue.gif Gonna source around for another Sense2.5 ROM tongue.gif

yes there is a way, u gotta have a registry editor and do a registry edit.

Anyone here tried the latest GenY Android on the TD? Very very tempting tongue.gif Seems stable at the moment looking at the comments. I am tempted to switch from my GenY D2X.

im on Gen-Y android and Gen-Y D2X both in my diamond!
u dont have to dump ur current rom but to place android system file in root(internal storage) and Gen-Y dual boot at startup.

Havent install it. Downloaded it and was on my way to flash until i started reading the instructions on the page and it became kinda complicated. Much more complicated than the usual thing and i back out tongue.gif

Now on Revolution 7 Titanium ROM. Simple rom with good memory usage but having trouble with the Screen Lock. It just wont detect at times a slide.

Wow..How good is it? I am concern about the way to install it. I cant seem to fully understand the Dual Boot thing.
